We have been so happy with our experience at Bluebird! The team have gone above and beyond to help our kids transition to... We have been so happy with our experience at Bluebird! The team have gone above and beyond to help our kids transition to the centre and day care. Particularly our son who has some speech challenges, new environments and transitions can be really tough but everyone in the team has helped us set him up for success. Similarly when our daughter started I felt really comfortable that she was well cared for and we had great communication with the educators and the rest of the team. Any concerns or questions we have had have been quickly resolved and the team has been really open and flexible with helping us problem solve etc. Further, the centre is always clean and tidy and we haven’t had major day care illnesses even with our youngest starting care at 8 months. We’ve had our three children at Bluebird Benedict House Queanbeyan since it first opened around a year and a half ago. In the early days, there were definitely some teething issues and a high turnover of staff, but since Bianca and Kira have taken over the management, things have improved dramatically. I’m so glad we stuck it out as my kids are genuinely happy here now. The staff are all so welcoming and friendly, and it’s clear they’re much happier working here too. The chef Sam is also wonderful with the kids. Mine love going up to him in the mornings to ask for apples, and he’s always so kind and accommodating. Bianca and Kira are always approachable and available for a chat about anything, which makes a big difference. Having been to three other centres and a family daycare over the years, I can honestly say this is now the best experience we’ve had. It’s been amazing to see the centre turn around so quickly, and I’m really grateful to all the staff for creating such a positive, caring environment. Well done to the whole team. Bluebird has truly become a great place to send my kids. Read more

Our child has been going there 2 months in the Waratah (3yr olds) room. Our child was really slow to settle for individual reasons, and the staff made effort to connect and welcome them despite the challenges individual to our child in this progress. When we have had concerns and have emailed them we have gotten thoughtful and helpful responses, and the centre management has been very responsive to concerns. The staff in our child’s room have been very caring and accommodating, and show visible warm pride in our child’s success at adjusting to the centre and its routines. Our child has been able to make friends and settle into a happy rhythm there and it’s been directly because of the effort of the staff in the room and the centre leadership. They all have our thanks and gratitude. Read more
