Melisa started looking after my eldest daughter when she was 1 year old (Feb 2015). We chose Melisa’s Family daycare because we loved the set up and the fact the children were in the outdoors except for sleep time and bad weather. It was tough leaving my first child to return to work but I soon realized she was in very good hands. My second daughter then started with Melisa when she was 8 mths old. Miss Mel and The girls formed very special bonds which made pick up and drop off easier then expected. Miss Mel has predominantly toilet trained both my girls and assisted with teaching many life skills such as dressing themselves, putting shoes on, educational and how to behave in public. In the last 6 mths Miss Mel has done School drop off and pick up for my eldest Grace and has always been happy to communicate messages with the teacher when needed. We left Melisa as we moved interstate but my girls still ask for her on a daily basis and we wish we could have brought her with us.
