Last Minute Christmas Card Ideas - Fringed Frontages

Just because you're creating kids crafty cards doesn't mean they can't be fancy! With a little bit of creativity and some glue, you can turn our template into something fringe-tastic!

You will need:

  • Printer and black ink
  • Craft cardstock - your choice of colour here - this will make your card
  • Coloured cardstock to print your template - this will make your tree
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Pens to decorate and write in your card

Instructions:

Template Time

Print out your template and cut around each of the triangles

Snip, Snip

Cut up to the solid line on each shape, along the broken lines, then ruffle the cut fringe to add some texture

Create Your Card

Take your Craft Cardstock and fold it in half. This is the base of your card

And Paste

Paste the largest triangle to the front of your paper, the next size triangle on top of the first, leaving the cuts uncovered then the smallest triangle on top of that, also leaving the cuts uncovered

Message Me Up!

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Feliz Navidad! However you say it, it's here you should add it.

Optional:  Using offcuts, cut decorative shapes and a star. Stick them to the tree
