During my time with Abracadabra Childcare Services I have worked for private families as a Nanny/Babysitter and as an Event Childcare Worker for children ranging in age from newborn to teenage years.

Caring for two children aged 2 and 5 years where I was responsible for casual on-call when needed in-home childcare both during the day as well as evenings.  Get the children up and ready, breakfast, dressed, set up activities, daily outings to the park, library, clean up after play, household duties, preparing snacks and meals and bath the children so that they were ready for bed when the parents arrived home.

Mud Puddles Cottage

I started at Mud Puddles Cottage as a trainee, I successfully obtained my certificate 3 in 9 months and I gained my first aid certificate with anaphylaxis and asthma training as well. My daily responsibilities are ensuring all children are looked after and cared for. Changing nappies regularly, feeding them and assisting at sleep times as well as setting up activities regularly so they don’t get bored. Playing outside, in the sand pit and on the deck with new and exiting activities all the time!

I started at Rashays at the bottom of the ladder as a food and drink runner. With dedication and hard work, I moved up into various roles ending up as a front of house manager. My key responsibilities were to delegate a team of waitstaff and runners to make service run smoothly. Cash handling, opening and closing the store and managing complaints.
