During this time I have worked for various families as an in-home carer for children ranging in age from 18 months – 12 years old where my responsibilities and duties have included those listed below.

Responsibilities:

- Cooking a range of meals from breakfast lunch and dinner to suit different aged children
- Entertaining the children by making up activities for them to do including music, art and craft, sports, ball games and drama games.
- Changing nappies
- Putting to bed, making sure the bedtime routine was followed and that they went to bed at the right time.
- Reading bedtime stories
- Light cleaning which included packing and unpacking the dishwasher, picking up toys, washing dishes and folding laundry
- Taking on excursions (parks, beach)

- Picking both kids up from school in my own car and driving them home
- Making sure the kids have eaten their lunch and preparing afternoon tea
- Doing the kids homework with them/tutoring to make sure they understand the work.
- Doing fun activities like art, drawing, swimming, ball games, trampolining, music and sport
- Taking the kids to their extracurricular activities
- Preparing and making dinner for them
- Getting the kids showered.
- In the holidays, taking the kids to toy stores, fox studios, the beach and other excursions.
