I provided care for two children; a four and a half year old girl and her three year old brother. The boy required an EpiPen (treatment of anaphylaxis) for his allergy to peanuts.

Nanny Duties:

• Assisting the children with getting dressed and brushing their teeth in the morning
• Driving or walking the children to daycare, kindy, school and back home in the afternoon
• Nutritional meal preparation throughout the day
• Ensuring a bag is packed with all of their necessities for outings (the boy required an Epipen due to his allergies)
• Taking the children on outings to the beach, city, library, parks, and occasionally the cinema to watch a movie as a special treat
• Creating activities for the children throughout the day such as constructing a cubby house, dancing, singing, playing musical instruments, completing puzzles, building with LEGO blocks, playing inside and outside games, painting, play dough making, and imaginative playing (cooking, dress ups)
• Reading books to the children at home and at the library
• Supervising the children whilst they were playing and swimming in a children’s pool at home
• Washing, folding and putting away their clothes
• Bathing the children in the evening and during the day if there were soiled incidents
• Cooking dinners for the family 3-4 times a week
• Occasional and arranged babysitting for the parents
• General domestic cleaning
