About Me...
Hello,
My name is Nieve. I’m 20 years old and I’m originally from Manchester, UK. I have been in Sydney for two months now and will be staying here for the duration of my visa. I do not drive however I am very happy catching public transport and walking with the children.
When I was younger, I attended a catholic school (Thornleigh Salesian) and I was awarded 7 GCSE’S A*-C, including English and Maths. While I was in school, I volunteered at primary schools and after school clubs, mainstream and special needs. After school I studied in college and from then on, I worked in the health care sector. I originally worked with the elderly in the community and then I worked with mental health in a forensic unit. I then briefly worked with the children in mental health care and disabilities. During this time, I learned first aid, moving and handling and many more. I am currently studying towards a BSc in Forensic Psychology.
When I arrived at Australia, I had my first Au-Pair Job. I looked after two little girls, aged 8 and aged 4. My routine consisted of: Waking up for school, making breakfast, getting dressed and teeth brushed, taking to preschool. I then cleaned the house, bleached the bathrooms and tidied the girl’s rooms. I then picked them up from school/pre-school, made snack, did activities, made tea, more activities, bath and then story time and bedtime. I enjoyed my time with the girls.
My hobbies include: Going for walks, going to the beach, swimming, adventuring and arts and crafts.
My family at home are very close and I have a very large family, they are very supportive about me coming to Australia and looking for opportunities.
I look forward to hearing from you soon, and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
