2 boys aged 2 years and 4 months, this started as a temporary position in June 2014. I have recently started nanny for them on a Thursday. All areas of care for both boys this is a sole charge position and involves some over night care. I regularly take the boys to groups, farm, soft play (Play Café) etc. I left the parker family in November 2015 when I came to live in Australia.

All aspects of care and some house work. I worked with this family whilst there nanny was away, weekends and regular babysitting. I introduced him to different foods and messy play including painting. September 2014 to present. Sole charge of both children. Recognised reflux and helped mum get support and help at the dr.

Fiona Tyler (personal assistant)

Fiona has a daughter who has severe quadriplegic cerebral palsy. Becky is 11 years old but I have known the Tyler family since Becky was a baby. I helped support Fiona with Becky’s care. Fiona has given me some training in using a hoist, manual handling and gastrostomy feeding however I will need further training as I only used this on an occasional basis. I have loved working with Becky.

Busy Bees

This was my first nursery that I worked full time in I really enjoyed developing the singing and messy play. I did a lot of research into how to make the play different each day. Making a bear hunt experience with different levels with shaving foam, mud, paint and water. I loved giving feedback to the parents and developed good relationships with them. Worked in the toddler and then the baby room.

Roundabout Christian Preschool

I started working at Roundabout in November 2010. I enjoyed being part of the team and working with the children. I really enjoyed spending time in the garden and I really enjoyed developing this area bringing the inside outside, developing different waterways and playing games with the children. I worked in the main playroom and also in the baby room. I left roundabout full time in April 2012 to enable me to save to go off to Australia. Since leaving I regularly go back to work there as bank staff. I have really enjoyed working with the staff and children and the children are always pleased to see me asking me. I have really enjoyed teaching them different games.

I have been known to Tinies since May 2010 I have done a variety of different placements for them. I started working with them full time after nearly a year off travelling in Australia. I have really enjoyed working Tinies and I particular enjoy the temp nanny positions I do with them. I truly love my work and I feel that it comes out in how I am with the children. I also carry a nanny kit in my car containing play dough making equipment, arts and crafts and books. I try and find seasonal recipes and enjoy cooking with the children. I love to cook and will generally always cook from scratch. Over Easter I enjoyed making hot cross buns with several families and organized Easter egg hunts for the children. I also go to different nurseries and help run wedding crèches. I often do odd days with families travelling as far as Eastbourne.

School pickups, nursery duties (clothes washing cooking…etc.) I helped to wean the baby making simple meals for her or adapting what the rest of the family were eating. We also went to baby gym and singing classes on a regular basis. During the summer I took the girls to the park or swimming and to the farm.

Lib Dem conference Crèches in charge of 2 babies whilst parents in conference. I made bottles and helped to feed the babies.

Girl Guide leader in 2nd Crawley Down Guide (UK)

Mount Barker Girl Guides in Australia. I have been a Guide leader for many years I enjoy doing outdoor activities such as outdoor cooking and organizing wide games we generally do an outdoor camp each year and I have attended 4 international camps. We work as a team to plan for the girls with therein put into the program. In Australia I worked with a unit and enjoyed camping and bike rides.
