During my time with this family I have built a lovely bond with their two children aged 8 yrs and 4 yrs.  I have been responsible for the primary care of the youngest child who has Rett Syndrome, non verbal and non mobile. I am working a 40 hour week where I am responsible for getting the children up and ready in the morning, ensuring the eldest child has everything they need for day, school drop off, fun daily outings, age appropriate activities, following a routine and schedule, preparing snacks and meals, arts and crafts, stories and reading, stimulating play, running errands and other general household duties. Liaising with the parents on all levels and ensuring the children's safety and well being at all times.

Interests

About Me...

I am a keen explorer and photographer and have travelled to various parts of the world. Travelling by myself on each of my adventures has helped me to become the confident and independent person that I am. Experiencing life in different countries and cultures has helped me to be more understanding, caring and non-judgemental when interacting with others. It has increased my desire to look out for and to teach those in my local community. I have recently arrived in Australia, from England, on a Working Holiday Visa. I am ready to share my knowledge and skills within my next place of employment and am equally ready to learn from those I will be working with.
