During my time with this family I have built a lovely bond with their two children aged 8 yrs and 4 yrs.  I have been responsible for the primary care of the youngest child who has Rett Syndrome, non verbal and non mobile. I am working a 40 hour week where I am responsible for getting the children up and ready in the morning, ensuring the eldest child has everything they need for day, school drop off, fun daily outings, age appropriate activities, following a routine and schedule, preparing snacks and meals, arts and crafts, stories and reading, stimulating play, running errands and other general household duties. Liaising with the parents on all levels and ensuring the children's safety and well being at all times.

During this time I was responsible for the full care of two children aged 13 and 14 years whilst their parents travelled abroad.  I would ensure the children were up and ready for school each day, dressed, fed and everything packed including snacks, drinks,  school drop off and pick up, attending after school activities/sports/lessons, preparing afternoon tea and evening meal, assisting with homework and projects, ensuring the children were in bed at a reasonable time.  All associated household duties including food shop, cleaning, tidying and keeping in contact with the parents when needed. Ensuring the children's safety, well being and happy, healthy home environment was maintined.
