Interests

A little bit about me...

I love being a nanny because of the bond and connection I share with the children I care for. I am a former Registered Nurse that has worked with children of various ages at the Children's hospital Westmead for 4 years. After having worked with children for many years knowing that I have contributed to a whole family’s life by being a major resource to parents who are entrusting their babies and children to me is very personally fulfilling. I have a thorough understanding of the different stages of child development, am able to care for babies, toddlers and school aged children. I know how to integrate play, activities, reading, learning and fun. I am respectful of a family's privacy and sensitive to any personal issues that may arise.

I am a very reliable, responsible, patient, caring and fun person. I have plenty of energy and can keep up with the children I look after. I understand the importance of nutrition for children and can prepare simple meals. I have a current first aid certificate as well as a current working with children's check and referees.

I'm currently studying by distance education and the hours you're offering are exactly what I've been searching for.
