Introduction

I have been at Pelican Childcare for 11 years. I was promoted to Lead Educator in October 2018-October 2022. I am always striving to further my skills and attend professional development training. I have the ability to effectively supervise and manage an education care service.  Since I have been appointed lead educator, I have gained leadership skills. I present myself as a committed candidate who will bring an enthusiasm for and an understanding of the task at hand. My record of professional achievement is one of great effort and a continuing pursuit of excellence. I am an out-going person who enjoys working in team environments. I consider myself to be suited to cultures where collaboration and sharing of resources is encouraged. I am keen to participate in the development of curriculum ideas – especially in relation to the implementation of National Quality Standards.
