Hello Everyone, my name is Rajani Bohra (Raj). I come from an Indian Australian background and am fluent in Hindi and English , with a basic understanding of Nepalese, as I often work with Nepalese children. I have been working in Early Childhood Education and Care since 2017, gaining valuable experience over the past 8 years. 

My Philosophy

I believe in providing a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where children feel valued, respected and supported in their individual journeys of learning and growth. My approach emphasizes: 

1. Child-centred Learning: I focus on the unique needs, interest, and abilities of each child, allowing them to learn and grow at their own pace. I provide experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, and a love for discovery.

2. Learning through Play: I believe play is a powerful tool for learning. I create opportunities for children to engage in meaningful, hands-on experiences that promote exploration, problem-solving, and collaboration.

3. Inclusivity and Respect: I celebrate diversity and foster a sense of belonging for every child, respecting their cultural backgrounds, abilities and perspectives. My program reflects inclusivity, ensuring that every child feel accepted and valued.

4. Nature and Sustainability: I encouraged children to develop a connection with nature through outdoor play and sustainable practices. I incorporate experiences and an understanding of our role in protecting it.

5. Holistic Development: My approach supports the holistic development of children- socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively- by providing a balance mix of structured and unstructured learning opportunities.

6. Guidance and Independence: I guide children to become confident, independent learners and thinkers by fostering self-help skills, decision-making, and resilience in a supportive environment.
