We are so grateful for the dedication, care, love and warmth that the Educators at The Nest have given our daughter over the past four years. She started in 2021 at just six months old and has now graduated in 2025. During that time, she built such strong bonds with her educators and her little friends. She has so many beautiful memories from her time there — gardening with Miss T, watching the bees, playing soccer when Little Big Sport visited, learning new songs, painting, clay sculpting, practising writing her name, and even visiting the aged care home, where she met a lovely Grandma named Elsa. These experiences have helped shape her confidence, creativity, and love of learning. I have always felt comfortable raising any concerns, and the Director, Miss Merryl, has been incredible — warm, approachable, easy to talk to, and someone who genuinely loves the children. She is passionate, thoughtful, and we will truly miss her welcoming smile every morning. We couldn’t have asked for a better daycare/kindy journey for our daughter. Thank you to everyone at The Nest for creating such a beautiful, nurturing environment. We will be forever grateful.

My daughter Maddi attended The Nest Early Education Center of Excellence from the time she was just a few months old until she graduated in 2025, and I truly cannot say enough good things about this place. From the very beginning, the Nest felt like home . The level of care, professionalism, and genuine love for the children is immediately apparent. As a parent, trusting someone with your baby is one of the hardest things to do and the Nest has exceeded every my expectation, not just in the early months, but consistently over the years. The teachers and staff are absolutely exceptional. They are warm, attentive, patient, and deeply invested in each child’s development. My daughter was not just “watched” she was nurtured, encouraged, and truly known as an individual . I watched my little girl gain confidence, curiosity, independence, and a genuine love of learning. What really stole my heart was the focus on learning about and truly loving nature which is deeply important to me . Interactions with indigenous elders and excursions to visit to our older generations at local aged care facilities was also a favourite part of Maddi’s time there . The food was amazing. Knowing that my child was eating fresh, nutritious, thoughtfully prepared meals every day was such a huge comfort as well . What truly sets the Nest apart is the culture. The people who work there clearly care not because it’s their job, but because it’s who they are. That kind of environment cannot be faked, and it makes all the difference. Graduating in 2025 was bittersweet for us because the Nest has become such a meaningful part of our lives. I am endlessly grateful for the foundation they helped build for my little girl, and I would recommend the Nest without hesitation, to any parent looking for exceptional care, education, and heart.

The nest has been a great daycare for my kids. The education my oldest received helped set him up for Prep. The caring and attention given to my middle child who had a tough time transitioning was amazing. Staff are always welcoming and friendly, know each kid by name. Plus my kids are rarely sick.

As an ex–childcare worker with over 13 years of experience in the industry, choosing the right centre for my child was never something I took lightly. The Nest has exceeded every expectation. From day one, I have felt completely comfortable and confident leaving my now 18-month-old son in their care something I never imagined feeling so easily, especially without me being in the building. The level of professionalism, warmth, and genuine care shown by the educators is outstanding. My son has grown so much since starting here emotionally, socially, and developmentally. He has formed strong, trusting relationships not only with the educators in his room, but across the entire centre, which speaks volumes about the culture and connection within the team. The environment is nurturing, safe, and thoughtfully run, and it’s clear the educators truly know and care for each child as an individual. As both a parent and a former educator, I can honestly say this centre sets the standard. I am so grateful to have found a place where my child feels secure, supported, and happy every day. Highly recommend to any family looking for a centre they can truly trust.

We are so incredibly happy with the education and nourishment that the Nest provides! We have had our daughter (whos now a big kid) and now our son come though The Nest and the staff have been nothing short of spectacular. A point to note, they have a professionally trained Chef on site to provide the children with not only yummy food they will enjoy, but also highly nutritious. My son has requested multiple times for recipes from The Chef, as he calls her, and we have fun replicating (trying our best to 😂) the recipes at home! Hats off to all staff!

We highly recommend the Nest. Before our daughter started last year, we visited 5 different childcares in GC and today we are grateful we have waited until we found this amazing center. Sarah a great and caring educator, accompanied her from the first day, teaching her the language and inviting our daughter to socialize in a new culture for her. This year, Marian, has also been an exceptional teacher and educator. All the staff are lovely and really know how to make kids (and parents) feel happy, welcome and contained. This wouldn't be possible without the guidance and experience of Bec. Moreover, the center is always spotless!. Thanks The Nest for making her and us feel as home :) Juliana

My daughter Grace and I absolutely love The Nest, all educators are very friendly and loving, the director Bec is a warm and big hearted person. My daughter Grace loves to go to kindy everyday and she’s always very happy when she’s in the care. I’ll 100% recommend this center, this is the place where your kids learn love, respect and care for others. 👏👍👍

This is the best childcare centre I have ever been to. We have moved around a bit and have experienced four different centres. The teachers were so lovely and really made our little boy feel very loved and welcomed. They seemed to take a real interest in him and worked hard to make sure he felt happy and comfortable in his environment. He would comment on how much he loved his teachers and would be very excited to see them every day. The centre itself is beautifully designed and the resources they have are amazing. The centre is very clean and well looked after. Honestly I only have good things to say about it and I'm sad that we haven't managed to find another one like it. Bec runs a tight ship which is what you need in a centre director. Every day I dropped my son off here I felt very happy about leaving him there.
