We had to go away for a few months because my partners dad was sick. Jamie convinced my partner to keep our child enrolled 1 day a week so that she wouldn't "loose" her spot. 6 weeks later Jamie had drawn our account down to almost zero and centrelink stopped paying the subsidy because our child had been absent for 6 weeks. Jamie obviously knew this would happen, we told her we would have to unenroll our child because we wouldn't be returning for another month. Jamie told us we would have to give 2 weeks notice and we would be charged the full rate for the remaining 2 weeks. Roughly 10x what it would normally cost us. Jamie knew the subsidy would be stopped after 6 weeks of being absent but she didn't call us at 4 weeks she waited until it was already cut off. They are now trying to take us to court for $800 for two sessions when that would normally cost us around $80. This isn't a gym membership it's childcare. Jamie and little gems were paid for a child to be absent for 6 weeks but that's not enough to sate Jamie's greed she needs more free money. Jamie and little gems should be ashamed of themselves, and maybe if Jamie's lifestyle was different and she had children of her own she would understand the financial pressures young families face.

Very pleased to have had our daughter educated & graduated on Little Gems Albany Creek. Fantastic educators, totally recommend it.

Little Gems is amazing. All of the staff are incredibly caring and supportive. They have created a safe and welcoming space which made the transition to daycare much easier for me and my child. I couldn't speak more highly of the centre and staff.

My little one really happy at this centre! The management team is amazing, and the educators are so kind and supportive. She settled in so quickly and has grown so much in such a short time. We’re so thankful for everything they’ve done! they’ve made the whole experience easy and enjoyable for both us and our child.

Little Gems has been absolutely wonderful. All of the educators are incredibly welcoming, warm, and friendly—especially Anne, Montana, Rosa, and Ophelia, who have made us feel so supported and cared for from the very beginning. The directors are equally approachable and kind, creating a positive and nurturing environment that’s felt throughout the whole centre. My son absolutely loves going each day, and I wouldn’t think twice about recommending this amazing centre to other families.

The most amazing centre and staff ever! I have special needs twins with completely different needs in seperate kindy rooms who with the support and care of the staff are both thriving. At least once a week I am in tears seeing the progress my kids are making whether educationally or socially. Happiest I have ever been at a daycare / kindy.
