We are very grateful for the care and support provided by YMCA Tarneit. The educators are kind, patient, and truly attentive to the children’s needs. My daughter feels safe, happy, and well cared for, which gives me great peace of mind as a parent. The kindergarten program is excellent. My daughter started here in the 3-year-old kinder and is now in the 4-year-old kinder. It has been wonderful to see her confidence, learning, and social skills grow over time. We are so happy with the dedicated and supportive educators who make learning fun and meaningful for the children. Thank you for creating such a nurturing and welcoming environment for our children.

This kindergarten has made such a positive impact on our child’s development. Our child has joined YMCA around 2.5 years ago. We’ve seen huge growth in social skills, communication and curiosity about learning. We are so grateful for the amazing educators at this kindergarten. The care, patience and genuine love they show the children every single day is beautiful to see. The educators create such a safe and nurturing environment where children feel supported and encouraged to try new things.

Under the previous management (Chelsea), this childcare was good and well-run. Since the management change, the quality has declined significantly. My child was crying during drop-off and an educator simply watched without making much effort to comfort them. Children are not changed if their clothes get dirty. Some educators are rude when speaking to parents and communicate rules in an impolite, lecturing way. There also seems to be bias in how some parents are treated. There is often no management presence at the front desk, fewer staff in the mornings and evenings, and it’s hard to get updates about your child. Overall, the service is poor and I do not recommend this center.

We absolutely love the centre . we feel a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are all incredibly caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children's well-being and development. Our child has thrived here, making friends, learning new things every day, and always coming home happy. Few months ago I was looking at the reviews and here I am again giving one this time. Where do I start from? This childcare is the second home to my son. I have been sending him here since he was 6 months old and he is turning 1 now in the next few days. All the educators; Angie,Ash, Rebel, Rifat and Van are amazing in his room. Chelsea the manager and Aditi at the front desk are always cheerful. They all treat kids like family which makes them easy to adapt. The app(storypark) they use will give you hourly update, a peace of mind especially if you have an infant. Overall, I absolutely love this place and would highly recommend!!! :)

The center and staff are excellent; we absolutely love it. Both of our kids have been attending YMCA Tarneit since they were babies. The educators are loving and caring, and the kinder program is also great. The outdoor area is spacious and playful, providing a wonderful environment for the children. The food is fabulous. Our kids absolutely love going there. Highly recommended!

We have been with Tarneit YMCA from the very first group of children when they opened until today. YMCA team has take care 2 of my children one from 3months old until now almost 5yo, I couldn’t thank them enough for their understanding, supportive and flexible in the past years. Teachers are all caring and very low turn over rate which is great as my kids are attach and be very comfortable around them. Food : variety of menus and vegetarian options available everyday :) my kids love their afternoon snacks so much or I got scolded for picking him up too early.
