Very nice staff !

- Thi Le

Our son has been going to Scribbles and Giggles Busby since he was 2.5 YO. For a mum who was so nervous to leave her son seeing him cry at drop off at such a small age, the educators at the time made us feel so at ease with photo updates on the app and also text message updates. As the year gone by we trusted their care of our son at every drop off! Pearl the center manager was there since the beginning and has been so accomodating in working with us! The educators Tina, Ranjini and Kiara have been so patient and caring we are so sad to be leaving!

Pearl,Jo and all the other educators are amazing😊 They are so caring and supportive, my daughter loves going and I feel confident knowing she’s in a safe, fun and nurturing environment.

Programs

Education – Intentional Learning Experiences for Every Child
Our educational program offers hands‑on, thoughtfully planned experiences designed to support each child’s individual developmental milestones. Educators use intentional teaching strategies to extend children’s thinking, encourage problem‑solving, and foster a love of learning across all developmental domains.

Yoga – Supporting Children’s Mental and Physical Wellbeing
Our yoga sessions offer children a calm, nurturing space to connect with their bodies, build strength, and develop emotional awareness. Through gentle movement, breathing exercises, and mindfulness practices, children learn strategies to regulate their emotions, improve concentration, and develop confidence in their physical abilities.

Fitness – Building Strong Bodies and Confident Movers
Our fitness program encourages children to participate in fun, energetic activities that strengthen gross motor skills and support healthy physical development. Through obstacle courses, group games, and targeted movement experiences, children build coordination, balance, endurance, and a lifelong love of being active.

Cooking – Exploring Culture, Curiosity, and Community Through Food
The cooking program invites children to explore a wide range of cultural traditions and celebrations through hands‑on food experiences. Children learn about ingredients, flavours, and cooking techniques while developing independence, fine motor skills, and an appreciation for the diverse communities that shape our world.

Lunch and Languages – Celebrating Identity and Strengthening Connections
During Lunch and Languages, children are encouraged to share and use their home languages as a bridge to connection, belonging, and cultural pride. Educators model inclusive language practices, helping children recognise the value of multilingualism and supporting them to build relationships through communication.

Indigenous Program – Honouring First Nations Culture and History
Our Indigenous Program provides children with meaningful opportunities to learn about and respect the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of First Nations peoples. Through storytelling, art, music, and connection to Country, children develop an understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and the importance of reconciliation.

Inclusion & Diversity Program – Learning to Embrace and Celebrate Differences
The Inclusion Program helps children understand what inclusion looks and feels like in their everyday world. Through guided discussions, stories, and collaborative play, children learn to recognise strengths in themselves and others, build empathy, and create welcoming, supportive relationships with their peers.

Sustainable Living – Growing Environmental Awareness and Responsibility
Children engage in practical experiences that build their understanding of sustainability and our shared responsibility to care for the environment. Through recycling, reusing materials, conserving resources, and learning about ecosystems, children develop lifelong habits that support a healthier planet.

Gardening – Connecting with Nature and Growing Our Own Food
Our gardening program teaches children how to nurture plants, understand life cycles, and appreciate where food comes from. By planting, watering, harvesting, and tasting their own produce, children develop patience, responsibility, and a deep connection to the natural world.

School Readiness & Educational Program
Our School Readiness and Educational Program provides children with rich, hands‑on learning experiences intentionally designed to build the foundational skills they need for a confident and successful transition to school. Educators work closely with families to identify individual learning goals, allowing each child to have a personalised learning plan that reflects their strengths, interests, and developmental needs.
Through purposeful play, structured small‑group experiences, and targeted teaching strategies, children develop essential capabilities across identity, wellbeing, communication, social competence, and early academic concepts. Our program nurtures confident learners who are curious, resilient, and ready to engage with the expectations of a school environment.

Key Benefits:
Phonological Awareness
Children build early literacy foundations by exploring letter–sound relationships, rhyme, rhythm, vocabulary, and patterns in spoken language. These skills support emergent reading and writing.

Age‑Appropriate Social Skills
Children learn to form positive peer relationships, collaborate, take turns, and manage their emotions. They practise conflict resolution, empathy, and self‑regulation - critical skills for classroom success.

21st Century Skillset
Our program encourages creativity, innovation, critical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making. Children learn to ask questions, explore ideas, and persist through challenges.
Fine Motor Development

Through hands‑on activities, children strengthen the muscles needed for writing, drawing, cutting, and self‑help tasks. These skills support independence in daily routines such as dressing, feeding, and personal care, as well as readiness for formal writing.

Meet the team

Meet the team

Our multidisciplinary team brings a wealth of knowledge, practical experience, and a shared commitment to delivering high‑quality education and care. Each educator contributes unique strengths, yet we are united by a common passion for creating meaningful learning experiences and nurturing every child’s sense of belonging.

Through intentional, play‑based learning, our educators design environments that are engaging, stimulating, and responsive to children’s interests. They observe closely, scaffold learning thoughtfully, and provide opportunities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Children are encouraged to explore, experiment, and express themselves, building confidence as they take on new challenges.

We celebrate each child’s individuality and support their growing independence by offering choices, encouraging problem‑solving, and recognising their achievements. Our team works in partnership with families to ensure every child feels valued, capable, and empowered to thrive.

About the Curriculum

About the Curriculum

Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to feel both deeply personal and genuinely educational for every child in our community. It draws on respected early childhood theorists to ensure our practice is grounded in evidence, while also being flexible enough to honour each child’s unique strengths, interests, and ways of learning. Families play a central role in shaping what we offer—your insights, cultural knowledge, and aspirations for your child directly influence our planning. We also collaborate with local schools and community partners to align our program with the skills and dispositions children need for a confident transition to their next learning environment. The result is a curriculum that is rich, responsive, and connected to real life—one that celebrates children’s curiosity, supports their growth, and reflects the voices of the families who trust us with their care.
