From the very first day, Montessori By The Bay has completely restored our faith in childcare after a truly awful experience elsewhere. The support, kindness and warmth we received from the start made such a difference — not just for our daughter, but for us as parents too. Our daughter has grown and blossomed in ways we couldn’t have imagined. The skills she has developed, the confidence she shows and the joy she feels going in each day is a true reflection of the incredible care she receives. Nina and all educators there are genuinely kind, loving and attentive, and it’s so clear that they truly care about every single child in their care. The activities they plan are thoughtful, engaging and developmentally amazing — you can see the love and intention behind everything they do. There is such a nurturing, calm and supportive environment, and it shows in how happy and settled the children are. As parents, we have always felt listened to, supported and completely at ease. Everyone is so approachable and easy to talk to, which makes all the difference when trusting someone with your child. Moving our daughter here was hands down the best decision we have ever made. My daughter has been attending MBB for almost 1 year now and it was the best decision we made. The family-oriented environment is very comforting for her and she loves the variety of activities and programs that they offer which keep her engaged, curious and wanting more! We’ve had such a positive experience at MBB. The educators are friendly and genuinely care about the children. Nina the director and her team are amazing. They are always approachable and truly invested in both the children and families. Being a small centre makes such a difference, it is noticeable how every child is really known and supported as an individual. At Montessori By-the-Bay we take great pleasure in providing a boutique, family run centre offering exceptional education and care to 25 children from 2 - 6 years. Each day children are cared for by outstanding educators in a warm, welcoming, Montessori environment which is specifically designed for children of this age.
Montessori is known to provide an education which teaches children life skills and independence while offering enriched movement, language and mathematical concepts. At Montessori By-the-Bay our program addresses all aspects of their being, including the heart, mind and body. Our focus is on building a trusting and caring relationship with your child and entering into a partnership with you.
At Montessori By-the-Bay we develop close relationships with each child in our care as they explore the world around them. We understand the importance of forming these early attachments for the development of trust, resilience, self regulation, confidence and independence.
We guide each child in discovery, as each child is unique and has their own learning style and pace. Our inclusive indoor and outdoor learning environments are filled with opportunities to explore using natural materials for play. We involve children in sustainable practices which are embedded in their daily learning and acknowledge that they are caretakers of this earth.
Our light, bright and natural learning environments are designed to maximise your child's curiosity, develop and strengthen fine and gross motor skills and encourage a healthy sense of self. Our educators take pride in offering inspirational learning opportunities in fun-filled and engaging educational environments.
