I had been searching for a good childcare centre for 18 months after an unlucky run with six different daycares (sudden unexpected closures, substandard care and an interstate move) when 360 was recommended by a new friend I made who works in childcare centre compliance (a high endorsement). I had quite a lot of anxiety surrounding my son’s care by this point. I enrolled my 2-year-old into all three ACT centres after touring Casey and Rivett, ultimately getting a spot at 360 Rivett, and it’s the first centre he has seemed settled in. He talks about all his educators by name, and he especially loves Chef Michelle! He still has some typical separation anxiety occasionally at drop offs, but he is always so happy and chatty when I pick him up, telling me about everything he did. The centre is so well appointed (as was Casey), with beautifully curated educational toys and spaces to suit all types of kids (quiet spaces for reading, outdoor climbing, gardens and places to explore, microscopes, dress ups etc.). My son has been in daycare since he was 7 months old, and has been at 360 Rivett since January, and I finally feel fully at ease sending him to daycare. The staff actually seem happy and like they enjoy what they do. Centre managers Laura and Kayla are always at front desk or pitching in with the kids, and my son loves them. The ratios at 360 are also better than other centres by design, which makes me feel extra reassured that the kids are getting a high level of care. If you have apprehension about daycare and childcare centres, I understand after my experience with so many bad ones!
