We couldn’t be happier since moving our child to Gumnut Gardens. Coming from a much busier centre, the difference was clear from day one. Gumnut Gardens has a calm, welcoming vibe that instantly put us at ease. It’s smaller and more personal, which means the educators really get to know each child—and the staff ratios are always high, so there’s plenty of support and attention throughout the day.<br><br>The educators are amazing. They’ve got a great rhythm with the kids, helping them move smoothly from outdoor play to indoor activities, or from playtime to story time. They genuinely care and take the time to tune into each child’s interests—often setting up activities based on what a child is curious about that day. It’s thoughtful, engaging, and clearly designed to help kids grow and thrive.<br><br>Our child settled in faster at Gumnut Gardens than they ever did at their previous centre. That’s all thanks to the caring, respectful approach of the team. We’ve felt supported every step of the way, and we’ve been able to settle in at our own pace, which has made a huge difference.<br><br>What really stands out is how involved and caring the owners are. They’re not just behind the scenes—they’re right there, checking in with families and going out of their way to help, especially on tough days. That kind of genuine support is rare, and it means a lot.<br><br>Honestly, we wish we’d made the move sooner. We’d put up with our old centre thinking that was just how things were—but Gumnut Gardens has shown us what quality care really looks like. We actually found it through recommendations from other parents, and now we’re the ones passing it on.

Gumnut Gardens is such a truly special place, and we feel so grateful that our son attended for three years. From day one we were welcomed into the Gumnuts ‘family’ and it was the best decision we ever made. Drop off was never an issue as he genuinely loved going there each morning, even asking if he could go on the weekends!<br><br>The educators have a genuine care and affection for the children, and don’t just ‘babysit’ like at some other centres. When our son had sleep issues they worked with him and built in personalised strategies at rest time into the routine.<br><br>Being a small family-run service, management build great relationships with families too. Can’t recommend them highly enough and I’ll always be so grateful that our son spent his earliest years there.
