Gumnut Gardens Five Dock – A Nurturing Early Learning Community

We are excited to share that Gumnut Gardens Early Learning Centre in Five Dock is now open! Building on the trusted foundation of our Paddington service, Gumnut Gardens Five Dock will offer the same warm, community-focused approach in a purposefully small and nurturing environment — a true home away from home for just 25 children per day, aged 6 months to 6 years.

Located within easy reach of Five Dock Park and the beautiful Waterfront Park, the new centre will extend our much-loved bush kindy program, giving children regular opportunitie to connect with nature, explore local green spaces, and engage in meaningful outdoor learning experiences.

At Gumnut Gardens, we value children’s right to “just be.” Our calm, inspiring spaces allow children to follow their interests, build strong relationships, and develop a deep sense of identity and belonging. Our intentionally small setting enables educators to form close, responsive partnerships with every child and their family.

We are proud of our commitment to sustainability, social justice, and inclusive education. Our team works closely with the wider community, drawing on local resources such as libraries, and parks to enrich each child’s learning.
