Story House has been amazing for our son. We started in April 2025 and have had a wonderful experience ever since. They have provided us with so many valuable tips and practical strategies for daily routines, learning, and establishing consistent habits at home. I highly recommend SH Doreen for childcare. We chose SH Doreen for our son as we felt a security and comfort from the moment we first walked in for a tour. Throughout the past year, the staff have been amazing. Our son has required additional accommodations for diet sensitivities and the centre has not only been willing to cater to his needs but has been transparent with their actions. The staff are kind and understanding, and willing to take the time to explain any issues or respond to our concerns. Our son was able to quickly transition to enjoying care and feels comfortable with his carers. The low turnover of staff and the consistent faces in the rooms provides a warm, welcoming environment for the children.

My daughter has been attending Story House Doreen for the past three years, and my son started just a few months ago. As a mother, leaving my 6-month-old for the first time was incredibly daunting, but the team in the Nursery made the entire process so much easier. From the very beginning, the staff were incredibly nurturing and supportive, both of my children and of me as a parent. During the orientation process, they took the time to ensure I felt completely at ease, answering all my questions, and addressing any concerns I had. So happy with the education and care my 2 children have received at Story House Doreen. One of my children has additional needs and the teachers have gone above and beyond to support them. The playground is massive, my kids love it!

I highly recommend Story House Early Learning Doreen. We arrived in a hurry and they made it seem so simple to cater to us. Every step of the way has been clear and well explained. They have excellent communication and I feel like I always know what's going on in their day. They have so many learning opportunities and there's a huge focus on getting the kids input to their learning - when my son's group suddenly gained an interest in sea creatures, they adapted the learning activities to focus on conservation, and even arranged an excursion to the aquarium! Their knowledge of allergies and anaphylaxis is excellent and my son has never felt like he missed out on any food. They also cater really well to neurodiversity and have never made my son feel different to the others. They are a wonderful team!

Really happy with our experience here. The staff are lovely, welcoming, and genuinely care about the children. Our little one has settled in so well and enjoys going each day. I got recommended story house early learning centre and i couldn’t be happier with the care and support my daughter has received at this daycare. She started when she was just 3 months old, and now at 7 months, it has been so special watching the educators get to know her, care for her, and watch her grow.
