Such a great team they have, well managed school

My son broke his collarbone while in the care of Green Leaves Margate, and staff completely failed to recognise or respond to his injury. Instead of offering support or medical attention, they mistook his clear signs of pain for misbehaviour and called me to collect him. He had told his educator after morning tea that he was hurt, but his concerns were ignored. To make matters worse, I have raised multiple complaints via email, and have received no meaningful response or follow-up. This kind of unresponsiveness is completely unacceptable when a child’s wellbeing is at stake. Often understaffed, overwhelmed and out of ratio with unsupervised play areas. This incident has left us deeply shaken and has raised serious concerns about the centre's ability to provide a safe and emotionally supportive environment. I sincerely hope Green Leaves reviews its protocols and staff training to ensure that no other family has to experience what we have.

Our daughter has loved every moment at Greenleaves. Being the first in my family to send my child to daycare was a tad daunting, but everything has been fantastic since day one. Next week she is heading into the toddler room but has had the most incredible time, especially with Miss Maria, Miss Nikki and Miss Christine in tiny tots. Special shout out to Miss Maria whose passion and enthusiasm for her job shines through every single day. The updates on development, the daily photos and activities, the love and care that the educators have is incredible. They are so supportive of our little one speaking a second language and are always looking at ways to integrate this into her learning. All the staff I’ve come across have been welcoming and friendly and I have zero hesitations in recommending Greenleaves Margate to others. A huge thanks for all that you do, the staff are like a second family!

Since my daughter’s first day starting at Green Leaves Margate she has been very happy and well looked after. Her educators she has been with have been amazing and many other educators know her name and say hello which is lovely. The centre is always very clean, the food is great and the administration team always go out of their way on special occasions which the kids (and adults) love. Very happy with the centre. Both my children have attended Green Leaves Margate and we will also send our third baby in 2026. The facilities are very well kept, the staff are up to date with current practice and pedagogy and are there for the kids. Safety is always the highest priority and we love getting current updates about sleep, toileting and food consumed via the Storypark app. Highly recommend to any family living on the peninsula.

Very modern spacious facility. Beautiful, kind and caring centre and staff who adore the kids. My daughter is always learning and coming home with craft and full of smiles. Bonus internal chefs and cafe with coffees available daily.

Both of my children have been at Green Leaves Margate since they opened. Our kids have grown up while at the centre and the staff have watched them grow and taken such incredible care of them. We are so grateful for how hard working, diligent and kind all the staff and educators are. We are going to miss everyone next year when our last baby graduates to prep.

We have had our little one in Green Leaves Margate for a couple of years now. Thank you for the amazing attention and excellent service always of Zuleima and Megan who go about their days without such recognition. The unsung heroes who do so well behind the scenes. My 3 year old started this year and has really loved it. She loves cooking classes and especially yoga. The staff are all friendly and educators are fantastic.
