My daughter started at KU Concord at 6 months old and has been attending for 18 months. I had visited many daycares before deciding on KU and it was an instant decision for me. From the moment i entered the centre i felt a sense of calmness in the children and staff. The environment was clean, stimulating and very child-friendly. When my daughter started the staff were very attentive to her needs and i watched her grow in independence. She also enjoyed the social skills encouraged by KU. I found that the staff were also caring and inclusive of all the children attending. KU have a long history of providing high quality childcare and educational services. I would definitely recommend it to parents.
Our little boy Hugh started at KU Concord when he was four months old. I was immediately impressed by how the staff read and provided for his needs, as such a little baby. He was always happy at KU - after a couple of months as we got to the gate he would wriggle his legs to try to make us get inside faster. By about 17 months, on a day at home he would stand at the top of the stairs at home, put a bag on his shoulder, and say "Daycare! Bye!" The staff at KU are wonderful and caring. It was very clear to us that he had a safe, secure space at KU and was very attached to his carers. They taught him a lot of skills, and taught us how to teach him a lot of skills, that we would not have thought of without their suggestions. The food served is nutritious and top quality. Again, when it came to starting solids and Hugh's diet we learnt a lot from KU. The staff are welcoming, friendly and capable. The facility itself is very good, with plenty of different items, toys and features for the kids to learn and play. I cannot recommend KU Concord highly enough. The very hardest part of deciding to move to a different area when our little boy was 19 months old was knowing we would have to withdraw him from KU Concord. He has had 15 months of caring, secure happiness there.
