Sue and Sofie are the heart of the centre. As long-time carers, their experience, consistency, and genuine love for the children is obvious every single day. They create a calm, secure environment that children thrive in and parents completely trust. The pet rabbits are such a special touch and truly set this centre apart. I’m a child and adolescent clinical psychologist and it took me 6 months to find the ‘right’ daycare for my son. I searched and toured facilities from Lindfield to Mosman. In my search I was looking for the only criteria that I truly believe are important to a child’s overall wellbeing and development: educators that love their work, are highly skilled in attachment, emotion coaching and validation, and who also adore and nurture children and their uniqueness. This wasn’t a requirement in my search, but I also love that I get to supply my son his lunches, so that I can manage the quality of the food he eats. I couldn’t be more grateful to have found Tree of Life, which is a hidden gem. I love the centre, and my son absolutely loves it and has thrived since starting there. He has no desire to start big school as he wants to “stay at ToL forever!”

Our son has been attending tree of life for about a year now, he was so happy there right from day 1! The educators (especially Sue and Sofie) really care about the kids and have created a safe, fun and educational environment for kids aged 2-6. Highly recommended.

We moved our child to Tree of Life and saw a dramatic improvement in their happiness! The centre is beautiful and small with long term staff who are clearly passionate about their work. Tree of Life is 10/10! After experiencing multiple other “highly regarded” childcare centres but they inevitably falling short of expectations, we came across to Tree of Life, a genuinely loving and caring environment for our little one. Our son loves his educators (who are all long term staff members) and the varied activities and learning that they do at the centre. He has thrived during his time at Tree of Life and we could not recommend it enough to other parents looking for quality care.

It’s not often that you hear parents rave about how wonderfully at peace they are leaving their precious children at daycare - but Sue, Sofie, Nurcan and Dafina have created something incredibly special at Tree of Life. We toured 12 centres around the area in early 2024, Tree of Life was the last tour and it left the best impression of a loving, caring and engaging environment. We were impressed that Sue had owned the centre for over 10 years, with Sofie her trusted sidekick for most of that time. That sort of experience and retention of staff was non-existent at most of the other centres we toured. I am so grateful to say that our expectations have been exceeded - our child LOVES going to ‘kindy’ and asks to go on non-kindy days. We couldn’t be happier with our choice and we highly recommend it to any parent.
