I wanted to share my experience.. Some of the educators here are fantastic and I have nothing bad to say about them (hence the 2 stars) But over the past 3 years not once has my child ever got to do a swimming lesson. I’ve sent so many emails and just get empty promises that it’s close to being finished. The staff turnover is so high. My daughter used to love coming to daycare in the past few months she has screamed if I leave her unless she’s with a certain educator :( on her last day in the junior Kindy room they were listening to a playlist on YouTube “songs that make you dance” which had swearing in it, inappropriate for a daycare centre and my daughter was clearly not happy to stay in the room which is unlike her. After 3 years, my daughter was sent home with 3 basic painting pictures not anything special she’s done over the past 3 years unlike other centres I’ve been at :( I really hate leaving a review like this but I was really disappointed in all of the above 😞

Families beware of their false advertising on swimming lessons since they have a pool onsite. Swimming lessons have been non existent in the last 5 years my children has been there. LEAD MHV promises things but never deliver. They should lower the cost down from $175 to at least $145. Bullying occurs at this centre a lot, the educators turns a blind eye to some of it and continues to video it without noticing the bullying is going on. The centre has promised to send kindy graduation photos out to parents but we haven’t received anything. Been told that they are looking for them but it seems they have been deleted or either the files are corrupted. Staff turn over here at this centre has been atrocious, kindy educators don’t seem to stay long in the last 5 years. Current kindy educator has no clue in getting the kids to be prep ready. There are better daycare centres around the area and are much much cheaper, just stay away from LEAD.

My daughters attended this centre for a short time only. Tour was okay. First few weeks were fine until I was notified at the end of the day that my youngest daughter had fallen back on a chair causing her to get a little bump. No incident report was made. My oldest was not receiving proper meals sometimes fed once a day like plain pasta. She was also being bullied by multiple children at this centre. I had brought it up multiple times and I was repeated the same thing "the boys are very hands and feet" mind you my daughter was being strangled, kicked, pushed, name called. Even spat on. There were a few incidents where I went to collect my oldest daughter and witnessed the bullying while the educators had a blind eye on the "situation" even though it was happening right in front of them! I had witnessed my daughter trying to go to the toilet while three other boys were waving there private parts at her laughing at her. I was disgraced at what I'd just witnessed instantly bringing it up to an educator. I was told "I will speak to them" "that's not okay".. Then another incident where a boy had come up to my daughter while she was standing in front of me pushing her right into my lower stomach. The teacher was talking to me at the time and did witness the incident but had said she did not and asked what happened. I told her and she said she will talk to someone. Never heard anything. Another where I ended up taking my girls out was when I wasn't feeling well and had my mother take me to collect the girls. My mother was so excited to see the centre and the environment. We had just walked into the kindy room I went to collect my daughters bag and my daughter went to my mother. As I was walking towards my mother and daughter the same boy as the prior incident had ran up to my daughter with a lot of hate. Grabbing her by the arm and going to swing her to the floor but my mother grabbed my daughter out of his arms. My mother looked straight up to the educator and said "did you just see that" and the educator completely denied seeing anything. The same boy has then come running back at my daughter, as he is passing the educator she had grabbed him almost pushing him onto the ground. He looked shocked and walked away. I was having a hypo and did not have the time to go deal with it all right there and then. So had called after leaving, to have what happened completely put to the side and questioned why I couldn't say anything in person. Then when things were being answered it was still the boys are hands and feet while giggling over the phone. My partner asked so if a child hurts themselves do yous look over the ccv footage they replied back "no" so then asked at what point do they check back over. And was told they only check back over if something serious was to happen like a death. That was a major concern. My daughter kept telling me she was scared to go to kindy. She has been to 4 different centres prior due to moving over SEQ as for my youngest she cant talk yet and seemed fine going this way her first centre at 2yrs old. Due to my own chronic illness I somewhat over looked a lot of this and believed it was helping me and my children a lot but it really set my children back and has caused my oldest a lot of trust issues with other children now. Not once did they attend swimming lessons here. They attended for 6 months almost. I was harresed constantly about owing $6-$9 on my account then when I had unenrolled my children I was refunded around $350. Out of the many centres I have witnessed this one is appalling with very unprofessional Directos/management in my opinion.

My son went to Lead MHV since he was 11 months old, he is now almost 4. Our experience has been up and down throughout the years, with most issues getting pushed to the side for the convenience and location of the centre, and for the fact that my son has made some beautiful relationships with some children and his educators, however the last issue we had was the reason I pulled my son out 2 weeks later. The daily upload on StoryPark, showed that there was a video of my son participating in group singing time, doing the actions and sitting listening to the educator when 2 other children started to kick my son, so much that he fell to his side onto the mat. They kicked him hard on his shoulder and private parts. Whilst this was happening, no educator intervened with the other kids attacking my son and kept filming the class and uploaded it to Storypark. I rang the centre within minutes and the manager said that she would be sure to tell the girls to check the videos before posting them for everyone to see. I replied, that’s not the issue, the issue is that my son was being bullied and kicked with the educator just recording the whole thing and doing nothing about it. I understand kids will be kids, but my issue was simply that this educator was holding the camera and did not help my son. The 3 boys including my son was in full vision of the camera, and were actually the closest kids to the camera. She said that she will have a talk with the educator. My mum went into the centre that afternoon to pick my son up and cried to the manager about how much that video upset her. She apologised and said that the girl would get a warning. However it does make you wonder what happens when things aren’t caught on camera. Beyond this issue, my son also one day very recently came home with a massive purple blood lip, with no phone call or information on this until I asked the next morning. They said there was actually nothing recorded on the system for this but she would ask his educator. I then got a call later that afternoon to discuss and sign an incident report. This is a whole different issue in itself. I would also like to add in the no swimming. My son hasn’t been swimming in EIGHT MONTHS (which was just a once off, then it was once every few months if that then stopped again for a long time) when it should be once a week. It is absolutely unacceptable and false advertising when LEAD advertises themselves as a centre that does swimming lessons which brings in busy working full time parents who do not have the time for the extra activity. It sure made me want to sign my child up being a single full time working parent. But if you think that signing your child up to LEAD to go to swimming each week and learn to swim, you can absolutely think again and do not waste your time. They label it as complimentary but they simply cannot say that when LEAD increases their fees multiple times each year. They are one of the most expensive centres around. What are we paying for??? We have received NO updates all year unless we go to the front desk and ask why our children have not been swimming and it was excuse after excuse. I think most parents have given up the fight, which is not fair. The most recent excuse was that a possum was living in the heating system, which apparently took months to remove it. Nothing is ever fully fixed or lasts more than a week, and if it isn’t a system issue it’s no staff to take our children swimming. The manager told me that she loved the program and that she would make a land swim program to teach safety outside of the pool, which was obviously just words to make me happy at the time, as that was said months ago and nothing has happened since. There is also such a high staff turnaround constantly. We have had to say goodbye to some fantastic educators over the years. I am only giving the centre the extra star, due to them.

The educators are fantastic and make our child feel safe and loved. The centre is clean and well-organised, and there’s always something fun happening.

It's such a beautiful daycare with such kind and caring staff 100% recommend ☺️

My child has been out of this center for a few months now, I can totally not write this review, but I hope all parents are prepared for what your child will encounter in this center. My child came to this center when he was 6 months old, and he suffered 3 incidents of neglect before he left the center. The first time was when he was 7 months old, there was no one to feed him for 5 hours, not even a drop of water, he kept crying when I picked him up, and I was told that he didn't settle, but I knew he was just too hungry. The second time was when my child was 8 months old, a lady put him in an adult size chair and took his hands off him, causing him to fall off the chair and hit his head. The third time was when my child was about 9 months old, the same lady let him sleep in the air-conditioned room with very wet clothes, I brought enough change of clothes, but she didn't change my child, causing my child to have a fever of 39 degrees that night. I contacted the center manager and complained to the lady, and the lady lied to the center manager and said it was because my child drooled when he was sleeping, but the photos uploaded by story park can show that she was completely lying. The center manager apologized to me after seeing the photos, but I never received any apology from that lady. I am very happy that my child likes the daycare now, and I hope that no other child will have the same experience as my child in this center.

A beautiful centre but very under resourced check out the storage rooms. This service does not support educators but instead relies on them to resource their own rooms. I personally would not enrol my child at Lead. As its all about profits instead of the well being and respect of the children and educators. The expectation is for educators to pay for your childs Christmas party amongst other things. Pretty poor management expectations on directors as well. Whilst head office staff are treated like royalty.
