We couldn’t be happier with our experience at HCCC. From the very beginning, it was clear how much genuine care and attention the educators give to each child. We have always felt confident leaving our children in their care, knowing they are safe, supported and truly valued as individuals. It’s also obvious that the centre looks after its staff just as well as the children, which creates such a positive and nurturing environment overall.

We’ve had both of our children attend this daycare, and we couldn’t be happier with the care and attention they’ve received. The staff are great and supportive (one child can still be a bit upset at drop offs but the staff are always so good and helpful with this!) and always have lots of hands-on, sensory play activities. Chef Jess is amazing and cooks delicious meals on site — the kids are absolutely spoiled for choice with HEALTHY, tasty food! They bring external providers in to run programs with the kids to (sewing/gardening/sports)! Highly recommend this centre.

HCCCC has been a safe and nurturing place for my children over the past four years. The Centre management and administration are diligent and maintain quality standards, while ensuring that it is a very welcoming and child-focused environment. The educators here are excellent, they know the children, and put their needs and growth as little humans first. My children have been encouraged to grow in confidence and emotional and social maturity, in a nurturing and secure environment. The focus on outdoor play is also critical and incredibly beneficial. The facilities are also excellent and well maintained.

I cannot recommend HCCCC enough! Keep up the amazing work HCCCC team. The centre has a child centred ethos with a focus on nature play – the children are always exploring, playing and learning outside. My two children cannot wait to run off and play with their friends and educators every day that they are there. The educators genuinely know my children and care about their development and consistently communicate their experiences with us every day.

I have had both my boys attend this centre over the last 8 years. It’s a warm, friendly and a nurturing place where I have always felt they are in safe hands. Each room is specially catered to suit the need of the child’s development at the time. Babies- 2, 2-3 and 3-5 room. They are surrounded by real Nature, authentic play and the centre takes me back to my own childhood in many ways.

We have been part of Hallett Cove Community Children’s Centre for the past six years with both of my children, and I couldn’t be happier with the care and education they’ve received. The staff are warm, nurturing, and genuinely invested in each child’s wellbeing and development. It’s always felt like a true community — the educators know the children so well and create such a positive, supportive environment. Both of my children have absolutely thrived here — they’ve built confidence, made wonderful friendships, and been more than ready for kindy thanks to the centre’s thoughtful programs. I also love how much time the children spend playing and exploring outdoors. The outdoor spaces are fantastic, and the educators make great use of them to encourage curiosity, independence, and a love of nature. Communication with families is excellent, and it’s always clear how much effort goes into making each day engaging and meaningful. I’m so grateful to everyone at Hallett Cove Community Children’s Centre for giving my children such a happy, caring start to their early years. I couldn’t recommend this centre more highly!

Both of my children have attended HCCCC and it is a cut above the rest. The atmosphere rooms, resources are always well kept and with plenty of opportunities for open ended play set up. The recruitment of educators and allocation of educators to each room is always incredibly careful, consistent and considerate in maintaining the high level of care and early education. The individual educators are child focused and always across what the individual needs of my children are. Finally director’s and centre ethos of children spending as much time outside as possible was the number 1 draw card for us. The children play outside all day with plenty of protection from elements. Couldn’t recommend this centre more.

My disabled granddaughter went there for awhile. Despite staff being constantly reminded of her need for extra supervision， I arrive to find her with a mouthful of barkchips and no staff member near by. When I pointed it out to the staff member "she laughed", as if it were somehow cute. This was 1 of many unsafe incidents, that they tried to make me feel were insignificant, and then they were nasty when I removed my granddaughter... I would've given no stars if I could.

My two kids have had a wonderful time here! The educators are very conscientious and responsible, which can put parents very much at ease! I highly recommend it to the parents in this community.
