Have had both my boys in Fauna Place for over 18 months now (started aged 3 and 1) so we’ve been across both rooms. Great staff with the least turnover we’ve had at daycares. Staff are genuinely engaged with the kids and provide high quality child-led teaching following their interests. My boys love the outside space, have had opportunity to go on excursions and their highlight is the school holiday programmes where everyday has a theme, again taking into the ideas of the children. The centre is clean and we haven’t had too much illness - though we are generally lucky with illness. I enjoy a general daily update of the room and a weekly bulletin which suits us as just the right information. Lots of opportunity to get involved with the culture and engagement with the centre too. It’s hard to get them to leave at the end of the day!

Both of our daughters attend the centre, and we have been so incredibly happy with the care, love and support they have received.<br>From the moment they started, we have always felt welcomed and reassured that they are genuinely cared for and valued as individuals. The educators are amazing! They are caring, patient, nurturing and always so happy to see the girls. It means so much as a parent to know that your children are happy, safe and loved when you’re not with them.<br>We have seen such a wonderful difference in both girls since attending Fauna Place, not only with their learning and development but also their confidence, friendships and independence. Fauna Place is a fantastic early education centre with warm, professional, knowledgable and hardworking staff. You can really tell how much care and thought goes into the program. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Fauna Place Early Education Centre. Our son has absolutely thrived here since he was two years old. Some of the things he comes home saying that he’s learnt at kindy genuinely stop us in our tracks and make us say “wow”. We’ve recently started our six month old daughter, and leaving her with the educators almost feels like handing her over to an aunty. The care is that genuine. Whenever we’ve had questions about our son’s development, the director and educators have listened carefully and responded thoughtfully. It’s clear they really know the children in their care, and it’s reassuring to see the same familiar educators year after year. We considered a community preschool for our son’s final year, but the leadership and educational approach at Fauna Place stood out. The resources are constantly refreshed, and the learning experiences clearly follow the children’s interests while encouraging creativity and deeper thinking. We absolutely love Fauna Place and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other families

We feel so lucky to have our daughter at Fauna Place. Kristin and the Fauna Place team continuously exceed our expectations. They are passionate about the children’s learning and development and the care they provide. They recently won a 2024 NSW Excellence in Early Childhood Education Award in the category of ‘Excellence in Australian History & Culture’ for their holistic approach to embedding Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture in the children’s educational program. It’s such a lovely community, the older children at the centre are very nurturing and caring towards the younger children. We definitely won the lotto getting a spot at Fauna Place, make sure you get on the waitlist from birth!

Fauna Place Early Education Centre is a fantastic place and our daughters loves it. All the educators have been so kind and caring, they are grown in confidence and learned so much from all the activities and projects they do like the music and dance, group time, birthday parties and parents get together for special events ,It really does feel like they've thought of everything parents could want from a daycare.
