Good

We’ve had our daughter at Busy Bees Yerrabi Ponds for around two years, and it’s been wonderful to see how much she has grown and thrived during her time there.

The educators are all amazing, caring, and genuinely invested in the children. Jas and Jonah, in particular, have been integral to our little one’s growth and development, helping her become the confident toddler she is today.

Wendy, the centre manager, deserves a special mention. She knows all the children by name, has a wonderful attitude, and creates a welcoming environment for both families and educators. We’ve also been impressed that educators across the different rooms knew our LO by name, which really shows how connected and caring the centre is.

The centre has a lovely, family-like atmosphere. The new outdoor play area is also a great addition and provides an excellent space for the children to play and explore.

Other bonus things:
* many staff have been around for many years, and have or have had their own children also attend the centre
* all meals and nappies provided
* meals and naps logged on Storypark
* once to twice a week update on what the room has been up to
* occasional community activities like book week, learning about other cultures during harmony week, colour run activity, and ability to purchase children’s books
* no field trips (piece of mind)
* continuity plan in place so if any key team members are on leave (eg Wendy!), it is seamless as there is good backup - it’s a trusted team environment

We’ll always appreciate the educators and Wendy, who have been part of our LO’s journey. Thank you!

Highly recommended

Lovely facility, clean spacious play areas and best of all, the educators are amazing, friendly, patient and nurturing and help me to feel a lot better about leaving my little one with them. He's in great hands, and his development has exploded since starting at this place

Our son has been at this center since the nursery room, and he’s now thriving in the toddler's room. The educators are warm, attentive, and genuinely know each child—we've seen huge growth in his language, confidence, and independence. Weekly updates and photos are consistent and thoughtful, and the activities are purposeful without feeling rigid. The transition between rooms was handled beautifully with clear communication and gradual settling sessions. The environment is clean, safe, and inviting, with great outdoor play and plenty of sensory and creative experiences. A special shout-out to the manager, Wendy, who is always approachable, organized, and proactive. She remembers the little details, checks in regularly, and sets a positive environment for the whole center. You can tell she truly cares about the children and the families. We’re very grateful for the team here. If you’re considering childcare, this is a place where kids are nurtured and supported every day.

We couldn’t be happier with the care and support our son has received at this childcare centre. From day one, the educators have made him feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. It’s been wonderful watching his confidence, social skills, and independence grow in such a nurturing environment. The staff are always friendly, approachable, and genuinely invested in each child’s wellbeing and development. Communication with families is excellent, and it’s reassuring to know our son is cared for by people who truly love what they do. The centre provides engaging activities, a welcoming atmosphere, and plenty of opportunities for learning through play. We would highly recommend this childcare centre to any family looking for high-quality care.

We moved from NSW to Canberra three months ago, and finding Yerrabi Ponds by Busy Bees was one of the best things to come out of that move. Both my boys absolutely love it here, and so do I. One of the first things that stood out was the hygiene. In the Nursery and Tiny Toddler rooms, no one (educators included) enters wearing shoes! When my youngest was still crawling, this meant so much to me. It's a small thing, but it shows real thoughtfulness about the littlest ones. The rooms are warm and cosy, and the educators have clearly been doing this for a long time. You can just tell they genuinely love what they do. The way they interact with the children feels natural and caring, never rushed. My older son is in the Preschool room, and I'm constantly impressed by how engaged the educators are. They're always on the floor with the kids, running around, reading books, drawing, and exploring all sorts of activities together. It feels like genuine connection. I also love the little details, like each child having their own named cup. The children recognise their own names, serve their own food, and chat with their friends, all of it quietly building independence and confidence in the most natural way. And then there's Wendy, the Director. She greets us every single morning with the most genuine smile. She knows the children by name, checks in with families, and sets the tone for the whole centre. You can feel her care in everything. If you're looking for a childcare centre where your child will be safe, loved, and truly supported, this is it. We feel so lucky to have found this place🩷

Professional care led by the Centre Manager (Wendy) which was reflected by her lovely staff. The atmosphere was very family and community orientated and they always showed a genuine care for our little ones safety and development. The centre has an awesome outdoor area with plenty of room to play. The sand pit is HUGE! We were treated like family and trusted the amazing team with our son from nursery through to preschool. Our experience was really positive and we would recommend Busybees - Yerrabi Ponds to all families!

Very Good service
