As first time parents sending our young baby to childcare, we were initially quite nervous and uncertain about what to expect. However, the team at LCW have helped her to not only settle well but we can see that she genuinely enjoys her time there and is learning new skills daily. The team of infants room educators are warm and affectionate, take incredible care to keep her rested, clean, engaged and happy and are so great at gently encouraging her to grow in independence. Not only this, we can rely on the centre for consistent and thorough communication about our child's daily activities and overall progress as well as clearly documented and observed policies and protocols. It's our daily pleasure to see the photo updates in the parent communication app and we are so grateful for the thorough rundown that the educators provide when we pick her up at the end of the day. Our baby always comes home happy and babbling endlessly about the fun she had with her LCW friends and the other children in the centre also seem happy and relaxed whenever we are there. Thank you LCW educators for the care, professionalism and cuddles! Edit: I’m editing this review a year later to post an update. Our daughter took a break from LCW Montessori for around 6 months because I wanted to spend more time with her. When it was time for me to start working more, we enrolled her right back here without considering other options. Why? In the time we took a break, when we’d bump into any of her educators locally they would always greet her warmly and genuinely tell her how much they missed her. Thanks to the infants room teachers’ care and wisdom, she returned and settled back with very little difficulty and is now preparing a gentle transition into the toddlers room. When she comes home from school, she’s always happily listing out all of the names of her friends (that she can remember) and her teachers too and boasting about all the new words she’s learnt. Both of my children have attended/are attending Montessori Academy at LCW. My first child transferred here to the Toddler room when the LCW... Both of my children have attended/are attending Montessori Academy at LCW. My first child transferred here to the Toddler room when the LCW centre opened, and stayed until they went off to kindergarten, while my second child started in the Babies room and is now in the Preschool room. Their independence, their comprehension, their sense of self and confidence in being a part of their environment is so apparent, and I credit a lot of that to the care and dedication of the staff and the method of Montessori. I have always felt safe in leaving my children in the care of the LCW staff, and I have witnessed how the Montessori teaching has helped shape my children into who they are. It was very emotional when my first child left to go off to ‘big school’! And I know it will be utterly heartbreaking when my second reaches that point too. I’m forever grateful to the love and care my children have received at LCW Montessori Academy. Read more

My son goes to LCW Montessori since when he was a baby, he was one of the very few kids started day care... My son goes to LCW Montessori since when he was a baby, he was one of the very few kids started day care there when it first opened. We have experienced all three stages from infant room to toddler and now preschool room. The educators there are all caring and loving, and many of them are just purely amazing individuals. My son loved to spend time with them and bonded with many of them very well, from centre manager to room leaders and most of the regular educators in his rooms, through out the last 4 years. I cannot name one educator that we didn’t like. The communication between centre manager/room leader and the parents are so efficient! Both Miss Elicia and Miss Maryke are so helpful and always goes out of her way to support our needs as a parent, and worked with me closely throughout some of my son’s growing phases. Importantly most of my emails are responded within the same day sometimes within minutes! And they always willing to spend extra time to talk to me on the phone and meeting in person with very short notices (sometimes even during their break time)! I really appreciate what they have done for the parents. The diversity in this centre is also a plus. They have male educators who plays very well with my son! Overall, I think this is a great centre and I would recommend it to any parents. My son is finishing here by end of this year and going to kindy next year, we will miss the lovely educators here for sure! Read more

My experience thus far has been extremely positive. The staff is professional and the educators are not only friendly but also highly competent in what they do. I truly appreciate the warm and nurturing environment they provide for my child. I've been more than satisfied with the quality of care and education he's receiving. As we were moving to Lane Cove we needed to find a new day care. When you are enquiring about the school there... As we were moving to Lane Cove we needed to find a new day care. When you are enquiring about the school there is lots of communication, follow ups and the staff are very friendly. As soon as you sign up and your child is going there is zero communication from staff. I pulled both children out after one day of attending due the lack of care, communication and did not feel my child was safe or looked after adequately at this centre. I would highly recommend not sending your child to this centre. It has been over a month since I emailed saying that we would no longer be attending and still have not heard anything from them. I could not be happier with my decision of moving from this day care! Read more
