Here at Kids on Craig our program is based on your childrens interest and educational needs. Our educators discuss and plan with your child experiences that enhance their learning. Information about the experiences your child will be participating in each day can be found on our online portal - "My family Lounge".
We believe that the program for all our children should provide a balance of activities these include indoor and outdoor, quiet and active, individual, small and large group and also child and teacher initiated activities. We offer flexibility in regards to the childrens needs, interests and any other situations that may arise during the day in a play based environment.
We believe that kindergarten counts, so here at Kids on Craig we offer the QLD approved kindergarden program which is delivered by Miss Kylie our qualified teacher who has over 10 years experience in the industry, our program runs for at least 15 hours a week, 40 weeks a year, for the year prior to prep. On enrolment your child receives two free kindergarden shirts and a kindergarden hat.
We believe all children are unique individuals and we allow them to keep their own identity creating an environment that promotes freedom of choice.
Here at Kids on Craig ELC we supply healthy, wholesome and fun meals for your child. By serving nutritional meals and snacks for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea we are helping to develop the future behaviour of your child, including their enjoyment of healthy food.

In January 2012 the National Quality Framework (NQF) came into effect across Australia.
The purpose of the NQF is to improve and standardise the quality of child care through a
range of measures including better staff to child ratios, higher staff qualifications
and an assessment and rating system designed to promote continuous improvement.
Under the NQF child care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
The NQS measures the quality of early childhood education and care in Australia. It will cover
most long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care services.
Under these standards child care services will be assessed and rated against the
seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS.
