Family Day Care with Jennifer Exall

Hi! My name is Jen and I live in Kambah (Wanniassa side). I am ideally located with easy access to both Athllon Dr and Sulwood Dr.

I was in the APS for many years before escaping and working in healthcare. I have a Diploma of Nursing, and worked at the Canberra Hospital as a nursing assistant. I have cared for all kinds of patients, including those with disabilities, brain injuries or dementia. I was often responsible for up to 4 confused patients at once, which is very similar to having 4 toddlers to entertain and educate! I am comfortable with children who are medically complex and might need a bit further support. My medical training also helps me to be more confident dealing with emergencies.

Since leaving the Canberra Hospital I have worked many families with children ranging in ages from 3 months to 8 years. Working with children is a joy, and watching them grow and helping them develop is a privilege. This is truly the best job in the world!

I am also a mother to 4 children, 2 of whom are now adults and twin teenagers. As a twin parent, I am equipped to deal with most things that can be thrown my way.
