We have been a journey Lara family since my child was in nursery and have always loved the supportive and nurturing environment. This year in particular, Kinder A has been phenomenal. The educators in there go above and beyond to build rapport with your child, a sense of belonging and a strong connection. Harsimran always greets the children with open arms and a lovely smile! My child can be quite emotional and found the transition into a new room daunting. The educators were calm, kind and extremely patient in helping her work through some big emotions on drop off. It definitely put my mind at ease that she is at a place she feels safe and comfortable! The kinder program goes above and beyond at providing rich learning experiences for the children. From beach kinder, to bush and many exciting incursions, the children are always provided with a range of learning opportunities. The wonderful manager and workers always seek feedback and commit to child centred decisions, keeping their best interests at heart! If you are looking for a centre that prioritises connection, care and your child’s wellbeing, this is the place to be! 🥰

Journey has been extremely supportive helping my kids settle in. They are making my son a birthday cake today which he is going to love. They love playing in the outdoor area and they love all the excursions.

The team in Nursery 1 are absolutely fantastic at taking care of my son. He has so much fun at daycare and the team are exceptional at looking after his development and his confidence. They often have themed days with activities to keep the children happy and engaged, most recently a Mother’s Day themed activity which was great to see. They also keep our family updated about what he gets up to during the day as well as monthly observations that are very detail oriented. Can’t recommend them enough!

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Kinder C at Journey Lara. Our son has already started kinder elsewhere, but Monique and Selena have been incredible at keeping him on track and aligned with his peers. They are there for him the second he arrives, welcoming him and making sure he’s happy and settled. They’ve put so much work into building his group interaction and communication skills, which has been so helpful for his overall development. We also absolutely love receiving his crafts along with the detailed stories and photos of his day, it’s such a great way to stay connected to what he’s learning!

Journey has been fantastic for my three children that have attended- this year, particularly nursery 1 staff who have helped my son since he was 3 months old! He is always so happy- with great communication and kind staff! In the afternoons in family grouping staff members Monique and Tahlia shine with how kind and comfortable they are with not only my children, but all the children there. Through all of the rooms that my children have been through, I have never once been able to fault the educators- they really help me feel comfortable having my kids attend this centre- such wonderful staff!

We’re so grateful to the amazing team at this centre, especially Rose and Monique, for the care and attention they’ve shown our child. The educators have taken the time to really understand him and support his needs, and it’s made such a difference. Recently, when our little one was transitioning rooms and showing some unusual behaviour, the staff called with a detailed update and genuine concern. Thanks to their attentiveness, we were able to follow up with our GP and discovered he had blocked ears and hadn’t been hearing properly — something we might not have picked up so quickly without their insight. It’s such a comfort knowing he’s surrounded by educators who truly care. They’re an important part of our village, helping raise happy, healthy kids. Highly recommend this centre!

Thank you, Journey Lara, for taking such wonderful care of my girls. We recently moved from the Northern Territory, and my youngest has spent the past three months settling into life here in Victoria. From her very first day until now, I’ve noticed such a big change in her. She has started talking more with her friends, engaging confidently with educators, and participating happily in all activities. My older daughter has also learned so much through the amazing kinder programs , she comes home excited to share what she’s discovered every day. A special thank-you to all the educators and to our Centre Manager, Krystal, for making us feel so welcome and at home. We also love being greeted each morning by Tamara and the team’s warm smiles it truly brightens our day. We’re so grateful to be part of the Journey Lara family. ❤️

We love journey so much that we came back! We moved 30 minutes away and tried a new centre but it just didn’t feel like home like journey lara does. The children build such good relationships and the vibe at the centre is like a home away from home. Management are amazing if I could rate 10 I would. Best centre we have been to and we have been to 4!
