He is now in his 2nd classroom since attending, this was a struggle for the both of us at the start but the staff and management at Story House were able to comfort us with the new transition. Since then my son has made a massive connection with the children and staff. I myself personally get along with a lot of the staff and find it very comforting how much they engage in conversation and ensure to give adequate updates and EOD summaries on pickups Very happy I toured this childcare and recommend it highly to all my friends and family. My son with Down syndrome started here in November, I was super worried on how he would be treated, included and even if they were able to care for his needs as he needs a lot more attention. Story house Lara has the most beautiful, kind hearted educators that have gone above and beyond for Arlen. They have made him feel so welcome that it’s even showing in his home life. He is so much more confident and tolerable of people, he has opened up a lot and is developing amazingly! His educators always give wonderful feed back on his days, they accompany his needs, make sure there is meals that he can have, and even getting him to sleep on a floor bed, they take in what his OT and physio say and then make sure they are proactively doing it. His included in everything and his peers in his class get so excited to see him which melts my heart, which just goes to show how amazing the educators are! Wouldn’t pick anywhere else for him, so glad he goes to story house ❤️ Read more

My son started at Storyhouse Lara just before his 1st birthday, and it was the best decision I made. The educators are amazing, so caring and nothing is ever too much to ask. They update the app regularly so I can keep an eye on my little one while I'm working, communicate with me at drop off and pick up about plans or how his day has been, and i love seeing photos and hearing about the activities they have been doing.
