The staff at SS happy valley are so great, my daughter is very clearly loved and well looked after. Any issues we have had have always been addressed and requests are happily adhered to and respected. My daughter has a few quirks and with the help of the educators, transitions which are normally really hard are made super easy. On weekends my daughter asks when she is going to see Tashy again.
All the staff are very friendly and the centre is well equipped and there are lots of things to play with and they quite often go to the school nearby or for big walks in the resiviour that my girl LOVES.
I’d like to especially mention Tash, who is much more than just my daughter’s educator. She has gone above and beyond her role in my girls life. She does what she can to implement strategies at child care that transition to home life and has honestly made such a difference for us, some days we have some pretty big asks and she smiles and says ‘no problems’ and it helps me breathe a little easier on those super hard days.
Maddie the director and Mel the assistant director are so welcoming and lovely, always organising special incursion for the children and strive to make the centre very inclusive and respectful.
We are so greatful to you guys and will be sad to leave when our daughter goes to school in 2028.

A big thank you to Maddie, Mel and the rest of the team for the warm and welcoming environment that you always provide here. My daughter genuinely loves going to "school" each day (as she would say) and tells me all about what activities she has been up to. I also love the regular Storypark updates and photos, and the way that the educators explain how the activities are connected to fundamental learning. It is clear how much the educators genuinely care about the children, and from what I hear from my daughter, the feeling is mutual. Full-time working parent guilt is so real, but it is comforting knowing our girl is in good hands when she is with you.

Walked in to get my child, he was sitting on the ground crying with 2 staff gas bagging 1m from him, if you want your child cared for go somewhere else.
Stepping Stone Happy Valley Childcare & Early Development Centre provides an emergent, child-based curriculum, based on the Early Years Learning Framework.
Healthy food is enjoyed daily by the children. Our menu is simple yet varied encouraging the discovery of different tastes and textures, which we continuously add new and interesting recipes reflecting the seasons, our garden produce and community events.
Our gardens include a tepee healthy snack garden, fruit trees, a no-dig vegetable patch, indigenous plants and flowers where children can develop a passion growing and caring for plants.
Recycling is an embedded practice with composting part of our daily routine. Children learn how to care for worms, our environment, creating sustainability for the future.
Inside our centre is extremely inviting, brimming with loads of resources in all six rooms, including a large foyer area where we host and invite families to participate in centre celebrations and workshops.
