We have been with Headstart west ryde since my son is 11 months. I can definitely speak for nursery and toddler room. Teachers... We have been with Headstart west ryde since my son is 11 months. I can definitely speak for nursery and toddler room. Teachers are great and patience. Can't thank enough to Jade and Chloe from nursery room. More recently, my son transferred to toddler and all teachers have been great with the transition (Skye, Clara, Chantel, Arifa). With new center manager Nancy on board, things have also improved so much. Especially the bike/scooter excursions, we love it so much hopefully there are more coming. My son gets to see how other older kids and learn quickly. Read more

I feel very fortunate to have transferred my son to this childcare. He is quite introverted, so I’ve always been cautious about changing... I feel very fortunate to have transferred my son to this childcare. He is quite introverted, so I’ve always been cautious about changing his environment. Unfortunately, his previous childcare closed down. After three months here, he comes home happy every day, and his English has improved rapidly. The teachers are all friendly and patient with the children, and the whole campus is clean and well-organized. I honestly regret not making the switch earlier. I highly recommend this childcare to any families nearby looking to enrol their children — we’re truly very satisfied. Read more

My son has been at Headstart West Ryde for a while now and honestly, we couldn’t ask for a better place. The team... My son has been at Headstart West Ryde for a while now and honestly, we couldn’t ask for a better place. The team there are just wonderful — caring, patient and always welcoming. What I love most is that it’s not just “childcare” — the centre runs so many thoughtful programs. They’ve done Environmental Month (teaching kids about nature and sustainability), Cultural Diversity Month (families sharing food and traditions), and literacy and science themes that make learning really fun. My child comes home excited, talking about stories, experiments and little projects, which makes us so happy. Centre Manager Nancy has been amazing since she joined, always approachable and clearly passionate about what she does. The educators are fantastic. Skye has been with the centre for years and you can really see the love she has for the children. Irene, Doan and Arifa are also amazing — they know my son so well and have been so patient and supportive with him. And Chef Linda is wonderful — my son eats everything she makes at school, which says a lot! We honestly feel like part of a community here. My child has thrived in this environment and we’re very grateful for the love and effort the whole team puts in every single day. If you’re looking for a centre where your child will be safe, happy and learning all the time, we’d definitely recommend Headstart West Ryde. For real! Read more

My child has been attending to west ryde center for nearly 3 years and I’ve been very impressed with the level of care provided. The teachers are warm, patient, and attentive, and the center is always clean and welcoming.they just finished renovation for the whole center. My child enjoys the daily activities, especially the daily story sharing . Communication is also great—I always feel informed about their progress.I receive regular updates and photos, which gives me peace of mind during the day. It has definitely improved in the 4 months since the new centre manager commenced Angela Sun. I noticed more varied learning activities, upgrading of the centre, many positive changes. My child always shares how much he enjoys the learning activities, playing with the other children, feels well supported by all the Educators, Emma and Angela interactions with him. Angela was also very approachable, greeting us each time at drop off or pick up, attentive to the children and the centre. We’re sadden to hear the news that she no longer works there. We hope this does not impact all the quick and positive changes already made in the centre. All the best Angela you’ll be missed, thanks for all your hard work in the short time at Headstart West Ryde. Read more

A Heartfelt Thank You to an Amazing Child Care Center We’ve had the privilege of being part of Headstart Early learning Centre West Ryde for a couple of wonderful years, and leaving now feels bittersweet. My daughter has grown and thrived here—learning so much, making her first best friends, and building lasting memories with the amazing carers. A special shoutout to Vivian, the center manager, whose dedication is unmatched. She’s always friendly, incredibly helpful, and ensures that everything—whether big or small—is prioritized and handled seamlessly. My daughter formed strong bonds with her educators, especially Miss Irene when she was a baby and learning her first words, and later with Miss Doan in the toddler room. Their love, patience, and guidance have played a huge role in her growth, and we’re so grateful for their care. This center is more than just child care—it’s a warm, nurturing community. We’ll miss it dearly but are forever thankful for the wonderful start they’ve given our daughter. Highly recommend to any parent looking for exceptional care and support for their little ones!
