Fae is an exceptional educator and person, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her support over the past five years. Her passion, patience, and dedication have created a nurturing environment which has helped prepare our daughter for school academically, emotionally, and socially. Fae is an excellent role model for kindness, resilience, and empathy, caring for little ones with genuine interest and compassion. Our son is now attending Fae’s family day care too and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly outstanding educator for their child.

Fae is an absolute gem! Our son attended Fae's Family Day Care for close to two years until he started preschool, and it has been the best preparation for him. Initially reserved and attached to his parents, Fae has helped him to develop social skills and improve his interaction with other kids and build trust with those outside the family while engaging in hours of games and creative play. We are so fortunate to have Fae to be able ease our son into his current preschool where he has been able to pick up where he left off. She gave him the confidence and sociability he needed to thrive in a bigger learning environment. Fae is very communicative, shares lots of photos and always let us know the details of their day. I can highly recommend taking your child to Fae's, she will make them feel safe and loved, also independent and very talkative! Fae is always happy for a chat :)

Our daughter attended Fae's family daycare for only 4 months because we moved away from Sydney. I can honestly say that the prospect of saying goodbye to Fae and the vibrant, safe, nurturing space that she has created for the kids in her care almost made us change our minds and stay :( ! We saw a few daycares when looking for our 13 month old and knew straight away walking into Fae's that this was the place for us. Her space is very small especially compared to a large centre, but it never feels that way because everything is so thoughtfully maintained and arranged. Fae was so sensitive and inclusive to our unique needs and parenting style - I used to love getting photos at naptime of her physically holding our little one to sleep ! What really deepened my trust and respect for Fae was observing her with the children at pick up and drop off - how authentically affectionate she was, what a joyful and positive influence she is, and most importantly how she treated them all the same, noticing their differences and somehow watching all of them at the same time ! She really genuinely cares about the kids she looks after and I send her updates about our daughter even after we've moved away - I was very moved that she requested that. I saw that she maintained friendships with the parents of her kids, for long after they finished care and often siblings would then attend as well. I love the way she sets boundaries in a kind and skilful way with the kids, and saw how comfortable that made them around her. I would recommend Fae's in a heartbeat to any parent but especially parents of younger babies having their first daycare experience, or children who for whatever reason would benefit from more one on one attention. My only complaint is that she's set the bar too high and now we can't find anywhere half as good :/

We've known Fae for almost 10 years now as she cared for both my children from before they could walk right through to starting kindy. Over that time she was like a second mother to them and has become a close friend to us as well. Fae has the brightest smile and a genuine love and affection, not only for children, but people in general, that comes through in every thing that she does. There was never a day where my kids didn't want to go to daycare. She has had such a positive affect on their personalities through enveloping them in a caring, nurturing and supportive environment, and teaching them how to share, care for & support friends & family, having fun, exploring the world & laughing all the while. Fae is the right choice if you want your child to thrive within a nurturing and caring environment.

Fae is an absolute superstar who clearly loves her job and cares for the children like they are her own. The encouraging learning environment Fae provides is beautifully adapted to develop each child's skills, discover their interests and become confident and caring kids ready to tackle life's challenges. I always knew I could drop my son at school and feel confident that he would have focused and nurturing care rather than get lost in a crowd of children like I have seen happen in the bigger centres. My son came away from his time with Fae with aspects of his personality so wonderfully strengthened and watching him thrive has been really sweet. My only problem is now I have to try and find care that compares to our experience with Fae and it is obvious that she is truly one in a million.

Oh my goodness, Fae is the most loving, caring, compassionate woman! She has the warmest heart & treats all the children with love & care - I have the utmost confidence leaving my son with her & he just absolutely adores her. I would recommend Fae to anyone. This is an educator who fully understands & appreciates children learn through play.

Our daughter has been attending Fae’s Family Daycare since she was 9 months (she’s now 4.5yrs). We have always felt we are leaving our daughter in safe hands and have enjoyed the intimate small group setting, especially given that we do not have family in close proximity. Our daughter loves and looks forward to her days with Fae, and has gone from being the youngest to the oldest in care, being able to benefit from both learning from others and as she has grown, helping with the younger children as she gets older. I would have no hesitation to recommend Fae’s service to any parent looking for care in the Erskineville area.

Our daughter is almost 18 months old now and she has been attending Fae's day care for around ten months. We are extremely grateful to Fae for the care she has provided, both in terms of her connection with our daughter and her high level of competence in working with children. Our daughter settled in very quickly and has always looked forward to her days with Fae. She loves the activities and has been able to form relationships with the other children who attend. More importantly for us, however, she has been able to feel safe and secure with Fae. In our opinion, this has been the best possible experience of child care. We have not had the option of leaving our daughter with family such as grandparents on a regular basis and we have been so fortunate that we have both been able to work, while still having peace of mind about the quality of care and the development of our daughter.

I cannot recommend Fae's family day care highly enough! My children first started attending Fae's in 2015 when my daughter was 3 and my son only about 6 months old. My daughter kept going until she was ready for school. She formed a close friendship while at Fae's, which continues to make her school days smoother as they both went on to attend the same school together. My daughter loved it at Fae's as she provides a fun and warm family environment. She could bring her favourite 'My little ponies' along making the transition from home to care seamless. But she was also busy with lots of craft, cooking, outdoor play and school readiness activities as she got older. Once she started attending school, she also was able to go back for vacation care - which she really enjoyed as some of her friends were still there. For my son, who is in his final year at Fae's now (he starts school next year), Fae's also always beats a day at home! She encourages and nurtures his sense of adventure and experimentation (plumbing pipe slippery slides and spinning tops on every surface!). He is also forming close friendships and is finally starting to practice writing his name despite his absolute resistance to this at home. For me - Fae is a wonderful 'co-parent' (and don't we need them!) and I've been lucky myself to be connected to a community of other local parents through sending my children to Fae's.
