Goodstart Early Learning Algester is a welcoming and connected early learning centre where children are supported to learn, explore and grow through play-based experiences. Located next to Holy Spirit Anglican Church, our centre has strong connections with four local schools and the wider Algester community.
Children benefit from experienced, long-standing educators, including team members who have been part of the centre for up to 20 years. With three Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers, our programs support children's learning, development and preparation for school through meaningful, child-led experiences.
Our diverse community is supported by educators who speak Arabic, Cantonese, Chinese, Hindi, Mandarin, Punjabi, Gujarati and Sinhalese. This helps children and families feel welcomed, understood and connected.
Children also have regular opportunities to learn beyond the centre, with weekly park excursions for Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten children, Mainly Music for Toddlers, weekly soccer incursions and monthly visits to Opal aged care. Our high-quality, play based preschool curriculum is delivered by Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Our teachers tailor their programs to ensure all children develop the confidence and social and emotional skills needed for a smooth transition to school. Through play, our Early Childhood Teachers facilitate children’s learning of important language, literacy, numeracy and creative skills.

They develop trust so the children can feel safe and secure while at the centre. Parents are also encouraged to share their insights and feedback with educators to add depth to the relationship.

I love that the educators who cared for and taught my oldest are the same educators now watching my youngest grow.
