I couldn’t praise Tennyson more highly. My kids run in and don’t even look back for a hug goodbye after years of teary goodbyes at previous centres. What I put it down to is that every educator takes the time to develop a beautiful connection with the kids so no matter who is there they feel safe. Jasmine, the Director, fosters an environment where her educators seem to legitimately be supported and this flows through to the kids. The communication with parents is flawless. I could go on! If you are considering preschool this is the perfect balance between slightly longer hours/having school holidays covered, and preparing them for school life.

Tennyson is wonderful childcare and preschool in Turramurra. It’s a great space for learning and play with a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces. The staff are excellent - very caring with thoughtful activities for the children to learn and explore. My 3 year old daughter is enjoying the experience; she looks forward to going to preschool and is much more content and confident to share about her day.

A wonderful centre with an even more wonderful director who has seen all 3 of our children through their preschool years. The staff are beyond caring and know each child to a deep level. As parents we get a clear understanding of what they do during the day and the centre fosters a caring environment whilst also teaching and growing them. Our family has had an outstanding experience with OAC Tennyson Ave. The center has a very professional and passionate team, creates a nurturing environment, fostering both learning and social development. And they are very supportive to parents and willing to work with parents to provide genuine care for each child. Previously, my son goes to another center, he is unhappy and most of the time he refuses to go in the morning. We never had this kind of problem with OAC Tennyson since day 1. He loves to go each day and feel so happy and doesn’t want to leave in the afternoon. He has significantly improved his communication and social skills after 2 years at OAC Tennyson. Would recommend to anyone, such a loving, caring and exceptional preschool!

I previously had my little boy at another day care and he was sick and sad all the time. Since starting with Only About Children my son has absolutely flourished, he is so happy and is developing his skills every day. I am so amazed by the care the team shows him and feel so reassured that he is safe, happy and learning with the daily updates and beautiful photos I receive.

We have been at the centre for 12 years now with 4 different children attending. Staff are wonderful with both the kids and parents no matter if it’s your first child or a subsequent child starting. Small centre compared to some but that has been a good thing I feel. In saying that the Centre has some wonderful inside and outside areas and lots of different things to do within these areas. Would highly recommend having a tour if you are looking!

Our family just relocated to Sydney from overseas. We had been worried about if my son could adapt to the new environment well. However, our anxiety was eliminated at the first day our son joined the school. It’s wonderful seeing him get excited about going here. The tutors really make an effort to engage the kids and the management is always committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and we’re very thankful to the whole team.

All of our three children have gone through OAC Tennyson and we couldn't have been happier. Julie, Belinda and the team are fantastic. They are kind and caring and our kids have loved their time there.

We travel from the Central Coast so our boys can attend Oac Tennyson Ave. It is an amazing centre with brilliant and passionate educators who excel at bringing out the best in preschoolers and toddlers. Watching our boys begin to develop their confidence and love of learning while at the centre has been a journey our whole family has been so excited to share. The range of learning experiences my boys have had is absolutely mind blowing- both of my children have come so far in their pre literacy and numeracy since starting at the centre and they absolutely adore coming to kindy here. They love their educators so much and Miss Julie our director is incredibly hard working and supportive of families to ensure we have access to additional services and so many great experiences including excursions and social activities. The cleanliness of the centre is second to none and I can emphatically say my children have never picked up a single Illness from the centre because the level of hygiene is so high. Being a smaller centre our children have relationships with their teachers across the rooms and we love that the boys can interact throughout the day. We are so grateful to the beautiful staff and I have so many friends in other areas who wish they could have their children attend such an incredible place. It really is a magical environment for children to develop a life long love of learning— every day, without fail, the teachers have worked tirelessly to set up new and interesting experiences in both the classrooms and the gorgeous outdoor space- I love seeing how excited the boys are to see what new activities are on offer and when I pick them up in the afternoon they are still having fun. They have an enormous sense of pride in their kindy and are always excited to show us the new activities that have been set up and the work they have done. The Storypark app is amazing and I know that no matter what I can always talk to every educator and they will know exactly how both boys days went because they are so connected and engaged. Tennyson Ave Oac is the best start in education we could ever have hoped for and exceeded all our expectations by far.
