Little Gumnuts West Pymble truly sets the benchmark for childcare in Australia. The leadership here makes all the difference. My son and several other families originally met Linda at another centre, and we all chose to follow her here—a real testament to her expertise, passion, and personal charisma. She’s been in childcare for over 25 years, and you can really feel her passion and love for the kids. She doesn’t just talk nicely; she always acts in the best interest of both children and parents. When I started looking for care for my son, I toured six different centres. Safety and hygiene were my top priorities, but I also placed great importance on the professionalism and character of the centre leader. I couldn’t have made a better choice. Since starting here, my son has changed so much. He’s one of those energetic boys who used to get impatient and lose focus easily, but the activities here have helped him become more patient, better at listening, and even reasoning. Another lovely surprise—Linda brings his music skills (piano & violin) into the centre, and now my boy is asking to learn piano and violin himself! The outdoor space is fantastic with lots of sunshine, big play settings (giant dinosaur, swings, sand pit, gardens, more). It’s always full of laughter and the perfect place for kids to burn off energy. The team behind the centre is also great—kind, professional, and very easy to deal with. And the community here is special too. I’ve met other lovely families and even made good friends myself, not just my son. We’ve been here almost a year now, and I honestly feel lucky to be part of this community. If you’re looking for a centre that’s safe, clean, filled with experienced and friendly staff, sunshine, space, and a really good vibe—this is the one I’d recommend without hesitation. Read more

This is a wonderful centre with caring, friendly staff who always make the children feel safe and happy. The director, Linda, is genuinely dedicated and actively involved with the children every day. She regularly organises engaging activities and encourages both kids and parents to participate in a variety of events. As a musician, Linda creates beautiful songs that the children love. Each week my son learns something new, which brings so much joy. The centre also has a spacious outdoor area, giving children plenty of room to run, explore, and play. Staff are warm, approachable, and always communicate openly with families. I highly recommend this centre to other parents! Read more
