We’ve been part of Grimshaw St for almost three years, and I can’t speak highly enough of the educators and the care they provide. The early childhood profession is going through a really tough time, but this centre has always made us feel nothing but supported, trusted, and valued. My child has been loved, guided, and encouraged every single day which is such a relief as a parent to know your child is in the hands of people who genuinely care. We’re so grateful for everything the team has done, you’ve helped shape the happiest little boy, and we couldn’t have asked for more.

A year after leaving Grimshaw St ELC (we moved from Greensborough to the other side of Melbourne), I brought my son back to visit his old educators yesterday. I could go on and on about how wonderful this place was for him, but the fact we happily drove 45 minutes a year later just to come back and see everyone says it all. My son has now attended two different daycares, and I can honestly say Grimshaw St ELC cared for him the most. If you’re looking for people who genuinely love and care for your child, these are the people you want around them.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience at Grimshaw Street ELC over the past year. Our child started in the Sprouts Room, where the educators were truly amazing—caring, attentive, and always creating a fun, nurturing environment. Now that we've moved up to a new room, it's clear that every team at the centre brings the same high level of dedication and warmth. Ara, the Centre Manager, builds genuine trust and connection with families, and her leadership creates a reliable, welcoming space for both children and parents. We feel confident and grateful knowing our child is so well supported across all stages of their early learning journey.

Dear Ara,Olivia and the whole Grimshaw ELC Team, Firstly, we would like to thank all of you for making our son’s experience with the centre really enjoyable and something he would always treasure. Friendships built within the children through the centre’s guidance I would say was the best gift we were able to take away from the incredible time he spent with the lovely educators He enjoyed his time there and has been missing his friends even. And thank you very much for keeping us in contact with his best buddy Max, we are hoping to meet with them for a playdate soon! The food has been amazing, per our son. Thank you for keeping the children enjoy meal times together through healthy options. The celebrations and events held by the centre are one of the things he remembers the most, and when parents and families join these events, it’s a helpful way to build stronger relationships within families and parents. I’m glad we joined in some of them, otherwise we would have not met with our son’s friends’ loving parents too. The tremendous patience and understanding towards the children is so admirable, I’m sure I can speak on behalf of all the parents that this is a real life saver for our families. The way the educators focused on the strengths and interests of the children, in our son’s case on his last few months within the centre, the Solar system, helped encourage learning and pursuing their passion more. Please continue in making the care a very personalised approach, and we thank you all for taking the time to actually understand the children as you plan the care and teaching approach for each of them. I dare even say that I’d enroll my next child to this centre again if that is going to be given to us. This is how much we trust the centre and how much our son loved everyone. We wish you all the best and continue to provide care among kids and families and fostering a loving and supportive environment for everyone. We hope to be able to pay you a visit one of these days, I’m sure our son would love seeing his beloved friends and teachers again. Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I am truly grateful to have found such a fantastic childcare centre and highly recommend it to any parent looking for a place where their child will be supported, encouraged, and loved every single day. My son absolutely feels safe, valued, and included here. Every morning, we are greeted with smiles and kindness, creating a truly positive and inviting atmosphere which is amazing to start the day. The educators and management team are diverse and filled with wonderful individuals which is I believe critical for having a rich and inclusive environment for all children.

We have loved everything about GSELC! Ara is so enthusiastic and caring, as are all the amazing staff. We originally moved from another centre to be closer to home, and it has been fantastic, would highly recommend!!

Enrolled both of our kids here. Educators and staff are amazing. Good parking and security. Communication from the centre is great and a strong emphasis on family with regular get togethers and cultural celebrations.

Educators and staff are simply amazing. The centre is always spotless, and management makes the whole place run like a well-oiled machine. The educators are engaging and caring, and our children look forward to seeing them every day! The music, playground to plate, and art classes are also a huge highlight. I can’t forget the wonderful kitchen staff! Overall, I highly recommend Grimshaw St Early Learning Centre.

Hands down the best daycare centre I've stepped into (I've been in a few). After having a terrible experience years ago with my eldest I was very sceptical when it came time to take my youngest. But from the moment I walked in to Grimshaw St ELC I knew I was in the right place. Not only are the facilities clean, bright and welcoming the staff and educators are wonderful. You are treated like a priority and not a number and you can see they truly care about each and every child. My anxiety about leaving my son only lasted a few minutes. I would recommend this daycare to very single person. The 30 minute drive every day is well and truly worth it. Thank you for being so caring towards my son and for making me feel at ease.

Our time at Grimshaw Street ELC has been such an amazing experience for our daughter who has been here for the past 3 years. The educators are caring, passionate & supportive! Our daughter has loved her kinder journey here & has learned so much. From bush kinder each week to music & art sessions & so much more. While we are sad her kindergarten journey is coming to end as she is off to primary school next year we are also excited to begin our sons childcare journey here 🤗 And to the amazing management staff Ara & Olivia, Thank you for the friendly chat & smiles every morning 🤗
