Couldn’t be happier with journey early learning Templestowe. It truly feels like a family rather than just a childcare centre. The educators are so caring, welcoming and genuinely invested in the children.

Our son has been attending Journey Templestowe for a little over 6 months, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with our experience. From our very first visit, through the settling-in period, and right up to now, the entire team — from management to educators and the chef — has consistently shown genuine love, care, and patience. It’s clear that this isn’t just a job for them; they truly care about the children and the families they support. What really sets Journey Templestowe apart is the family feel. The team feels like an extension of our own family, which has given us so much comfort and confidence as parents. We visited several other centres before choosing Journey, and while they were fine, none of them felt as warm, homey, and nurturing as this one. Most importantly, our son has been beautifully looked after from day one. Knowing he is safe, nurtured, loved, and supported every single day gives us complete peace of mind. The team at Journey are so warm and welcoming. From my very first enquiry, I felt at home and confident my kids would be happy here. We have been at the centre for over a year now and I am consistently impressed. One of the standout aspects of Journey, compared to other centres, is its small size. There are around a maximum of 45 children across three rooms on any given day, and often fewer than that. It genuinely feels homey rather than like a big, impersonal “shopping centre”. The team are also incredibly flexible with casual bookings, which makes a huge difference as working parents. That flexibility significantly reduces the stress that comes with the unpredictability of balancing work and family life.

My son started at Journey Early Learning Templestowe in the nursery and is about to transition to kinder room. Roshini and her team have been amazing in supporting his development from baby to toddler, and helping him become his own creative, inquisitive and caring little person. The kindness and enthusiasm shown by every one of the educators makes drop off easier knowing that he’s surrounded by people who genuinely care about him, and there is a lovely sense of community that comes with being a smaller centre. My daughter is due to start in the nursery room this year - with many of the same educators who looked after her brother! - and looking forward to a similar positive experience for her as she grows. Absolutely would recommend this centre if you’re in the area ☺️

I had a really positive experience with Journey Early Learning Templestowe. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, and supportive. They take time to build good connections with children and families, which makes a big difference. The environment feels warm, safe, and well organised, and the team works together very well. Overall, it is a lovely centre with caring educators. Highly recommend.

JELT has made the transition for our first little one starting daycare this year so smooth and comforting. Our little one had just turned two when he first started, and after just a few transitional weeks he settled in really well and bonded with Lead Educator Eloise so quickly. Her commitment and compassion made the transition for both of us as smooth as possible. The educators pay such close attention to each child's needs and interests, and over the last few months I have only positive feedback for the JELT team. Our little guy absolutely loves going to daycare and it helps so much to know that he feels comfortable and has a sense of belonging.

Thank you so much for giving the love and patience to our child in the past year. The educators worked really well with our external providers (our kid has special education needs) - they are always supportive, open and communicating.

Over the course of the last 5 years I’ve had all three of my children attend this centre. My youngest is now in the kinder room with Ashish. Roshini and the team of educators at this centre are great! All three of my kids developed such a good relationship with the staff, and the ones in school still look forward to coming with me to pick up my youngest so they can see everyone. Lots of different activities with the kids, and planned outings (tennis, park days, bike days, visits to Templestowe Valley Primary School, recycling and police car visits). The kids eat healthy, and are really well looked after. They enjoy the benefits of a smaller centre (when I had two children attending at the same time they could spend time together during the day even if they were in separate rooms, toddler/kinder etc.) and get personalised care.

I am so grateful for the wonderful experience my child has had at Early Learning Journey Templestowe. From the very beginning, the orientation process was handled with such warmth and care, which made a big difference after a negative experience at a previous centre. The staff were extremely welcoming and supportive, always making drop-offs easier. The team created a safe and nurturing environment, with consistent feedback, daily updates, and photos on StoryPark showing how happy and engaged my child was. The centre is very clean, with high-quality resources and toys suited to each developmental stage. The wide range of educational activities has allowed my child to grow and develop in their own way. The centre go above and beyond celebrating special events such as birthday for each child and offering opportunities such as bike education and excursion to the locals park. I feel very thankful for the genuine care, professionalism, and dedication of the staff. I couldn’t recommend Early Learning Journey Templestowe more highly.
