You can tell the educators all communicate really well, when we mention something to one, the others already seem to know and check in with us. Rise and Shine Kogarah has been an absolute blessing for our family. From the very first day, the educators created a warm, safe, and genuinely nurturing environment for both of my boys. Their dedication to each child’s emotional, social, and educational growth is evident in everything they do. The staff are incredibly attentive and compassionate, always taking the time to understand and support each child’s individual needs. My boys have built strong, positive relationships with their teachers and peers, and their confidence, curiosity, and love for learning have blossomed since attending. The daily activities are thoughtfully planned and engaging, and I’m constantly impressed by the centre’s focus on both developmental milestones and emotional wellbeing. It’s a place where I truly feel at ease leaving my children, knowing they are not only safe but also genuinely cared for. Thank you to the entire Rise and Shine Kogarah team for creating such a supportive space where my boys continue to grow and shine every day. My daughter has been going to this center for more than a year and never had a dull day. Her days are filled with activities and she really enjoys going here. I cannot speak highly enough about this wonderful centre but will highlight a few things which stand out: 1. The management from Debbie -... I cannot speak highly enough about this wonderful centre but will highlight a few things which stand out: 1. The management from Debbie - her care and direction is so wonderful. She leads with empathy and passion. She knows every parent by name (no easy feat!!), always follows up with individual queries quickly and communicates regularly via the Story Park App. She is such an inspirational leader to the next generation of childcare centre directors. 2. The educators - we have experienced 3 rooms already and every single educator has showed passion, enthusiasm and genuine care for our children. 3. The activities and resources - each day is filled by the wonderful educators with arranged activities, free time to play, outdoor play and there are lots of open ended toys / resources. The Smart Start room is just fantastic - the children can take part in scientific experiments and work on their numbers and letters on the Smart Board in this dedicated space. Another standout room is the loft library with the gorgeous mini couches and chairs. 4. The environment - the centre design has been so well thought out using natural timbers, creating large, bright and airy rooms. 5. The food - not just standard curries and spag bol but a well thought out menu with different textures and tastes. 6. The support from head office - if you have any queries around childcare rebates etc there is someone to help you, leaving Debbie and her team to focus on managing the centre and most importantly - the children! 7. The owners - from what I can see, they are present, actually help out at events and appear to be genuinely interested and passionate about early childhood education. Thank you to everyone at Rise and Shine Kogarah for creating a safe and inspirational space for the children. It does genuinely feel like a community that which will build and grow as time goes on. Our children love attending RSK and we love knowing that they are in great hands. Read more
