Strongly connected to the local community, Lyrebird ELC offers families a nurturing and loving home-like environment that has been thoughtfully designed to create positive and enriched learning experiences for children, under the guidance of a fantastic team of educators.

Our purpose built facilities provide light filled rooms that facilitate a homely atmosphere, conveniently located close to the Carrum Downs Shopping Centre, Lyrebird Early Learning, offers thoughtfully newly refurbished spacious playgrounds that provide numerous learning opportunities for the children. Our Centre pets are always the Centre of attention, your child will spend the day with friends and develop a genuine love of learning at Lyrebird Early Learning.

Caring for children from three months to school age, your child will develop their skills and confidence in natural and open-ended environments. We pride ourselves on offering healthy and nutritious meals where no one goes hungry, while offering experiences that grow young minds such as music, language and sport.

Our play-based learning programs are designed to inspire your child’s love of learning, exploration and curiosity. With highly skilled and dedicated staff, children who attend our centre will receive the very best start to life and foster a love of learning

  • At the service your child’s development, routines and daily activities are recorded for you to enjoy and share via our StoryPark App. As part of our daily practices, we record information and observations that are designed to not only keep you informed, but to further extend on your child’s abilities, interests and strength.
  • Our formal kindergarten program operates every day between 8.30am- 4.30pm and provides for the recommended minimum of 15 hours per child (for those that attend 2 or more days). Normal long day care programs and routines operate outside the kindergarten hours.

Despite a high staff turnover they continue to offer excellent support to the kids. The facilities are great and the menu is fantastic.
I love the owners are teachers and they always take the time to talk to you. A fantastic centre with people who actually know what their doing
