About Edge Early Learning Laidley

Welcome to Edge Early Learning Laidley, perfect for families located in and around Laidley Heights, Blenheim, Laidley North and Laidley South.

Our purpose-built centre is now welcoming children from 6 weeks to school age, into our long daycare and kindergarten program.

We’re excited to offer state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor learning environments where our teachers and educators deliver Edge Early Learning’s bespoke education program that’s personalised to your child’s individual learning goals. Your child will love learning through play with engaging inquiry-based experiences planned and communicated to our families.

Your child will enjoy fresh, nutritious meals prepared daily by our on-site chef, using recipes developed in collaboration with accredited dietitians at The Biting Truth. Designed with growing bodies in mind, our seasonal 4-week rotating menus are designed to be age-appropriate and nutritionally balanced, aligning with the Australian Dietary Guidelines to support healthy growth and development. Featuring a variety of whole foods and culturally inspired dishes, meals can be tailored to suit individual tastes, dietary needs, and allergy requirements.

We offer year-round care across long daycare hours to suit busy family schedules.

Our team of highly qualified educators and teachers pride themselves on developing strong relationships with families, to set children up with a confident start to school. Children from our centre will go on to attend Laidley District State School or Saint Mary's Catholic Primary School.

Enrolling now for 2026. Eligible families will receive a minimum of 3-days subsidised care each week at Edge Early Learning.

Safety

Safety

Edge Early Learning Laidley is unwavering in our commitment to ensuring that our centre provides a secure and nurturing environment where your child’s wellbeing is always our top priority.

  • Our dedicated team prioritises safeguarding children through daily practices, educational programs, and adherence to national child safety principles.
  • Our Kindy children enjoy Life Ed's Harold's Little Learners program, which builds confidence, resilience, and healthy habits in fun, age-appropriate ways, including body boundaries and safety, and big emotions. It’s all part of giving your child the best start to school.
  • Our supervisory and senior staff complete regular Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting training.
  • We proudly work with Life Ed, Bravehearts and other similar child safety advocate organisations to strengthen the personal safety education within our programming.
  • Our S.A.F.E. framework (Spot, Act, Fix, Explain) requires staff to speak up if they see or suspect something isn’t right. With S.A.F.E. in place, we have created a culture of accountability where reporting is expected and encouraged.
  • Our Active Supervision policy ensures all team members understand the importance of Plan, Position, Look & Listen.
Programs

Programs

Edge Early Learning's Teach A Rainbow education program is personalised to your child’s individual learning goals across 11 Key Learning Areas, aligning with the national Early Years curriculum. Designed to prepare children for a confident transition to school, the program supports cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development including self-help skills and building resilience.

Our Kindergarten children enjoy Life Ed’s Healthy Harold’s Little Learners program year-round—we’re proud to be the only early learning provider to offer this exclusive experience to enhance our Teach A Rainbow education program. It features visits from the loveable giraffe “Health Harold”, curriculum-aligned lessons, educator professional development, and practical tools for families. Through fun and engaging experiences, children learn about healthy habits, body boundaries, confidence-building skills and navigating big emotions.

Our team and families alike appreciate the truly holistic growth fostered by the Teach A Rainbow program. Growth that’s founded in a strong partnership and conversation between educators and carers.

The staff at the centre are caring and supportive of the children and their families. My daughter loved attending the centre and adored all of the staff, especially Angie. Every day she would be excited to tell me all about the fun she had at kindy. The meals they provide are not only nutritious but so yummy! Would totally recommend Paisley Park to anyone looking for care in the Locker Valley

Response from the owner 13 Jul 2020

Thank you for your lovely comments Susan!
