My experience with this childcare centre was extremely disappointing. During one visit, a male educator approached my daughter and said, "Come leave Dad and come cuddle with me." This made me very uncomfortable and I immediately left the centre. The centre promotes its extensive security camera system, however when I requested to view the footage relating to this incident involving my own child, I was told they would not provide access to it. Following this, my daughter became distressed and refused to attend the centre. As a result, I informed the centre that I was withdrawing her enrolment. Despite this, the withdrawal process was not started for approximately two weeks. I was then advised that because written notice had not been provided, I would still be charged an additional four weeks of fees. I explained that my daughter no longer felt comfortable attending, yet the fees were still enforced. Based on my experience, I found the centre to be frustrating to deal with and poor value for money. Parents should carefully consider all factors before enrolling their children.

Educators and centre manager know all the children well, are communicative with parents/carers, request input from parents/carers where necessary (and not too often) eg. community events to celebrate, activities are very intentional in what/how they will help develop the children.

My child enjoys it here and we’ve had a good experience here. Lovely educators

It’s not surprising YA are only meeting the NQS standards for all of their areas but particularly educational program and practice as well as children’s health and safety. My 5.5mo daughter attended in 2024 and was pulled out after barely a month due two injuries happening to her they couldn’t explain. Only after I had raised it with management, upper management then went to the department of education, and provided photos of her injuries; I was given made up excuses and stories as to what happened and they tried to get my husband to sign an incident report that was done days AFTER we raised our concerns. Massive red flag. At drop off you’d be standing around waiting for someone to take her as she’d only just learned to sit independently so you can’t just leave a baby on the floor and walk out. They didn’t even try to follow a sleep schedule nor gave much effort with ensuring she was fed with her bottles. It was only when I raised it with Vika the CM at the time multiple times she would personally go in and ensure our daughter was decently fed. On the days Vika wasn’t able to help as much my daughter would skill a full 200ml bottle in the car before going home. I’d pick my daughter up and have to manage putting in all of her bottles and belongings in her bag by myself whilst holding her. No updates on how she’s been except she “cried a lot” because given what happen to her I doubt they gave her much attention. She was always overtired and upset when I would pick her up. As an educator who has worked in the childcare industry they’d often be out of ratio too. Don’t let all of these new positive reviews to revamp their image - mostly by staff who work there - fool you. Go on local community pages to get real reviews.

This is an excellent childcare centre with a warm and welcoming environment. The educators are professional, caring, and always attentive to the needs of the children. The programs are very well designed to support early learning, creativity, and social development. The centre feels like a big family, where children are safe, happy, and excited to join activities every day. Communication with families is also very good, which builds strong trust and confidence. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality childcare and education.

We could not be any happier at Young Academics (YA). Headed by Beth Streatfeild, Centre Manager, she has a sound understanding of the kids' needs and adaptive company policies to ensure the premises is kept to Australian standards. We relocated from Cronulla and had experiences with two other childcare centres before signing our children to YA. We can honestly say YA has exceeded our expectations. At YA they are educators having assisted with our childrens comprehension with the environment, science, letters, and numbers including motor skills during outdoor activities. With their tailored student strategy plans our son was accepted to Two separate and good colleges for Kindergarten after completing the tests for student acceptance. In which we opted with the preferred. Beth has that terrific Aussie spirit with a can-do attitude and is well versed with the complexities of running the day to day operations of the centre. Further, the centre is lucky to have a handful of established educators such as Lamya, Nomiki, Paula, Charlize, Anna, and Dipa. This means, we have benefited to experience the stability of having the same educators from nursery to pre-school, which facilitated a stable learning experience for our children. We wish for Beth to bring every success to the centre along with her dedicated and well experienced staff to continue the good work and Standard they bring to our community. Sincerely, Red.

We’ve been really happy with the care and attention Aneāhlani has received at the day care. The educators are kind, patient, and genuinely care about the children’s wellbeing. Communication has always been clear, and I appreciate how they keep us updated on her progress and daily activities. It’s reassuring to know she’s in a safe, supportive environment where she can learn and thrive. Overall, it’s given us great peace of mind as parents.

EXCELLENT centre. Very very caring educators and ECT. I must say they really take good care of children. Every single staff member is highly trained and very very friendly. I love the preschool room(bit biased) but non the less, all the rooms are very very fun, clean, well trained staff and your children will learn a lot and be taken care of. 100/100 recommended.
