Very disappointing experience.<br><br>My son started attending Bright Sun Family Day Care on 20 July 2026. From the beginning, I was open about his additional support needs and provided his relevant NDIS and support documentation. I also made every effort to communicate with the educator and discuss strategies to support him.<br><br>Unfortunately, after some behavioural incidents, I was told that his educator could no longer continue caring for him because she felt she did not have the capacity to meet his needs. I was also told that other parents had raised concerns and wanted their children placed with another educator. The service ultimately confirmed in writing that my son’s care would end on 18 October 2026.<br><br>What disappointed me most was that, despite the service knowing his needs from the beginning and my willingness to work collaboratively, I did not feel there was enough effort to find a sustainable way to support him before ending his care.<br><br>I understand that caring for a child with additional support needs can be challenging. However, I expected a Family Day Care service to work with the family, explore strategies and support options, and give the child a genuine opportunity to succeed.<br><br>This experience has left me feeling that my son’s additional needs became a reason to end his care rather than a challenge the service was willing to work through with us. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot recommend this service.

We are incredibly grateful for positive impact Mrs Kajal Sharma had made on our daughter’s life. Kajal Sharma has done an excellent job in creating a warm, inclusive and supportive environment for our only daughter. Our child has grown so much as a person in last couple of years, thank you for helping her develop and build confidence in herself. Kajal’s daycare is a place where our daughter not only learns but feels valued and cherished. Mrs Kajal Sharma took our shy little Ascher and made her more confident. She is the best kind of teacher, and we can’t thank her enough. Kajal’s enthusiasm for teaching is infectious, and it's made our child excited about daycare. I love when Ascher can’t wait to tell us about her day with Kajal. It gives us peace of mind and satisfaction knowing that our only daughter is in safe hands and when my daughter says”I want to stay in daycare for bit longer”. I am so grateful that Kajal can make learning fun and engaging. Kajal’s love for teaching is evident in every lesson and interaction. I want to thank her for being exceptional.

I like their ambition to exceed, and empower the FDCS standards. I look forward to see Bright Sun FDCS, to engage more closely with families, encouraging them to assist educators in achieving better outcomes for their children.

Being an educator for the 11 years i have comeacross many agencies and providers . Among them Bright sun fdc holds a special place in my hearts.i usually dont have personal preferences but I can describe why Bright Sun FDC is special out of them. One of the most admirable aspects of it is their unwavering dedication to the well-being and development of the children in their care. They often create a warm and nurturing atmosphere, fostering a sense of belonging for the children. They excel in providing individualized attention, tailoring activities and learning experiences to each child's needs. Additionally, their ability to build strong relationships with both educator and children ,while maintaining a safe and organized environment, is highly commendable.Thank you

There r lots of things i like about brightsun, few of them r that the staff here is very supportive, they r with u whenever u need them. Amsha aapi and tahir bhai r very honest and fair in everything, literally everything. Being their staff, we have their full support, always. Conducting meetings, keeping a check on each n every educator, guiding us about each n every new policy n procedures, arranging training and making sure that each n every child enrolled with them is in safe hands, this has always make us stand nice n fair with children and families. Coordinators in the brightsun r really professional and they r always there for u whenever u need help. I am with brightsun for almost 3 years and will stay with them untill i m doing family day care.

I have very good experience with bright sun simran family daycare. They focus on child development, wellbeing and safety. I really like their transparency regarding fee policy. They are providing good quality care at affordable price.
