Introduction

I am a 26 year old graduate, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sport and Physical Education with a 2:1 status from Cardiff Metropolitan University. I am a reliable, enthusiastic, trustworthy person hoping to continue my career working with children. I work well as part of a team and individually, working to the best of my ability in all circumstances. I enjoy pushing and challenging myself in new situations and environments. 

• Barrs Court School – On a weekly basis I would attend a school for disabled children with both mental and physical disabilities, and deliver their PE class. This was very rewarding and helped me adapt sessions to every child’s needs from sensory movement to fun active games for all ages.
• Football Coach – (Lads Club and Pro Soccer) I have coach children from 3 to 16 both female and male, over a number of years. Starting with an Under 12 girl’s team where we won the league to recently coaching under 4’s who are just starting to play football.
• Camp America - I was hired as a football specialist, however engaged in coaching a range of sports from baseball to sailing. I coached children from 6-15 on a daily basis for 3 months in Pennsylvania. I also lived with 24 12 year old girls, where it was my responsibility to care for and maintain the welfare of these children 24/7.
• Manadon Vale Primary School – Two weeks logged work experience with all ages engaging in all aspects of the classroom environment from ages 4-12.
• The Point 4 – Working in partnership with the Royal National College for the Blind I was a recreational assistant at the sports centre, guiding and helping blind people to increase physical fitness.
• Fit For Sport – An Ofsted registered holiday camp running every day from 8am-6pm with children between 3 and 12. I was an activity leader therefore had to plan fun, engaging activities throughout the day to keep the children physically active through enjoyable games and a range of sports including; swimming, netball, basketball, parachute games, football and many more.
• Mayflower Community Academy – An urban deprived primary school where I took on the role of a teaching assistant and sports co-ordinator. Many children were SEN with behavioral challenges. I have worked with children with alcohol foetal syndrome, global delay and ADHD. I worked within the educational enironment engaging with children of all ages and after school sports.

Plympton Primary School and Nursery - Working with children aged 2-12 both teaching and delivering fun activities. I also worked with two down syndrome children one to one for 8 months helping with their daily needs.
