This was a 'Mum's and Bub's' meeting where a separate room with games, activities, toys etc was set up so the Mum's could have a catch-up.  So much fun with the newborns and toddlers.

This was a great day!  Employees who were on maternity leave were invited back in to the office for a catch-up.  They had a separate room set up with games and activities and all resources to be able to look after a group of babies whilst their parents attended the catch up on site.

I worked for a week in a creche room with children ranging in age from 0 to 5 years.  I was responsible for engaging with the children on all levels through stimulating play, arts and crafts, stories and reading, changing nappies, feeding bottles, settling and liaising with parents on all levels.

Casual Weekend Event Childcare Worker

This was a once off event being held in Manly, a Company was holding their AGM and invited their employees in attendance to bring their children along.  The parents attended a Gala Dinner whilst we cared for a large group of children in another room, they had lots of fun activites, a disco, food, games, toys, entertainment and then I returned with my allocated families children to their hotel room and settled them in for the night.  Another great experience.  This was on a weekend so I was able to fit this in and around my full-time committment as a childcare educator during the week.
