- If Casual bookings are received within 48 business hours of commencement of the assignment or made after hours then the booking fee will be $50 (+GST).
- If bookings are remote then there maybe an increase in the agency booking fee, please contact the agency for details
- We offer Shared Babysitting/Nannying Services also (if the children are from one, two or three different sets of parents or if there is more than 3 children). About Me...
I am a mature age nanny with 10 years of experience, working locally with young children varying in age from 2 months to 12 years. Early childhood education is my passion, and I have a caring, nurturing personality, am hardworking, punctual and take pride and responsibility with my work.
I have raised my own family of two children, and have worked in Early Learning Centres for about 15 years prior to becoming a private nanny, caring for children in their own homes.
My duties have been extensive and varied, and include bottle feeding, cleaning and sterilising bottles, changing nappies, bathing, preparing nutritious meals based on the children's preferred foods, toileting and toilet training, teaching children to dress, tie shoelaces and brush their teeth.
I incorporate activities into their routines to teach children basic skills, and do this in a fun way, to keep their interest. I like to teach counting games, music and singing, encourage the love of books and reading at an early age, simple cooking and baking, puzzles and imaginative play. If the child has a pet, I teach him/her about feeding and interesting facts about the type of animal.
I like taking my children on outings to parks, libraries, Questacon, playgroups, sports, dancing lessons, music lessons and anything else that is suitable for their age group.
Being bilingual, I enjoy teaching pre-schoolers basic Czech. They like learning new words and traditions from my birth country, the Czech Republic.
I have carried out both short-term and long-term contracts through Abracadabra Childcare Services. My latest nanny position has been a two year contract for a family with 2 young children in Jerrabomberra. I am currently still working for this family on Tuesdays in the capacity of after school care. I am searching for an additional family to care for. I can provide good references from my current and past employers.

Skills
Childcare for babies and children aged 3 months to 12 years. Duties have included bottle feeding, nappy changing, preparing simple meals, settling to sleep, outings, school pick up, after school activities and assisting with homework. I am bilingual with Czech as my second language.
I enjoy reading to children, arts and crafts, swimming, teaching simple gardening skills and pet care.
Some children I have looked after have enjoyed learning Czech.
