Caring for one 9yr old girl where I was responsible for assisting her with getting ready in the morning, organising fun outings for the day, swimming, movies etc.  Preparing nutritional snacks and meals, overnight care as her younger sibling was in hospital having an operation, trips to the hospital for visits, general household duties and dropping her to her school holiday program.  I built a very strong bond with her and her parents in the short time I was with this family.

1990's

In previous years I worked for a family who had four children and I was responsible for caring for the two youngest being newborn and 3 years of age.  Mum had just come out of hospital and required a full-time carer, livinig in with the family in Sydney - 6 months contract.  The family met with me whilst I was caring for another little boy and they asked me if I would be intersted in caring for thier little ones.

I also cared for a little boy aged 9 year and a 3 year old girl, plus a newborn throughout my time with this family.  

I also looked after the babies in the isolation ward in Townsville Hospital, this was one of my first jobs working with children and I loved it.
