I was recruited through Abracadabra Childcare Services to assist with the set up of a new in-house creche at an English Teaching College based in Casaurina.  The creche is now set up and running very successfully.

My responsibilities and duties include:

• Corrolating all material, staff handbook, parents information booklet
• Assisting with setting up a programme, routine and daily schedule for the children
• Taking a look at the space and designing floor plan and layout
• Ordering age appropriate activities, resources and materials required for the creche and receipting these goods
• Writing a speech for the parents and presenting this on the induction day
• Introducing all childcare assistant staff to parents
• Managing a team of 5 childcare staff
• Monitoring and reporting the development of each individual child in attendance
• Liaising with parents and senior members of staff
